She has had a legal career that has stretched over decades and has dedicated herself personally to building compassion and acceptance wherever and whenever possible. These experiences have enabled her inspire people to celebrate the things that make them different. Motivating adults and children alike to live authentically and celebrate what makes them extraordinary is what her leadership and vision is based on.

Get To Know You Activities For The Classroom

An online interactive platform for get to know you activities for students , Project Flaunt is also an initiative of Don’t Hide It Flaunt It. Participants can submit artwork, stories, or photos that showcase their individuality through the Project Flaunt Hub. This platform allows students to flaunt what makes them different, creating a space where they’re able to embrace their uniqueness and motivate others to do the same. By expressing these stories, we can support making classrooms places where inclusion is honored, not simply accepted. Project Flaunt is more than just a place for creativity — it is an opportunity for students to discover about themselves and each other, promoting greater understanding and inclusion.

During our 2019 annual President’s Council of Cornell Women (PCCW) Symposium, Meg gave an impressionable presentation titled “What You Think of Me is None of My Business: Embracing Your Superpower” which embodied our theme of PCCW Celebrates One Cornell: Diversity and Inclusion.” Not only was Meg’s presentation insightful, thoughtful and impactful, but she captivated the audience. Sharing stories about those who go through life with visible and invisible differences made us aware that we all face difficulties and challenges in many ways, but together, through education and awareness, we can be compassionate, loving and caring to everyone, no matter the trials and tribulations ahead.
