At Don’t Hide It Flaunt It (DHIFI), we have a strong belief in the power of embracing differences and creating environments where all people can feel recognized, heard, and valued. Social Emotional Learning Program

We believe that inclusivity activities for summer camps is truly capable of making a difference in the world. Social Emotional Learning is central of our work at DHIFI. SEL gives individuals – particularly students – with the resources to understand and control their emotions, develop strong interpersonal skills, and make responsible decisions. Increasing awareness of the experiences of others, encouraging team building and fostering better communication are simply several advantages of SEL activities. Connecting with themselves and others, these activities help establish the social skills needed for self-growth and academic achievement. Inclusion Activities For Companies

Together with social emotional learning activities, we additionally focus on inclusion activities for organizations. Our Inclusion programs are designed to cultivate environments where everyone can feel they are included, regardless of their race, gender, abilities, or background. We go beyond inclusion by promoting true inclusion and inclusion – with the goal being ensuring equal access for all. Our programming is ideal for schools, businesses, and community groups, with interactive formats that address a variety of topics.

A SEL Curriculum

Confronting misunderstandings about disabilities and differences through inspirational talks is the focus of our Speaking Engagements. Emotional Support Activities Disability Acceptance Workshop For Students

Bullying is often caused by a lack of understanding and respect, which is why we’re so focused to disability support program for youth groups. We strive to tackle bullying’s root causes and ensure students are equipped with strategies for standing up against it when they encounter it daily. This is done via interactive program and candid discussions. The importance of empathy, respect, and kindness can’t be overstated. This is why students are taught to identify bullying behaviors in their communities and stand against them. Our programs are focused on more than just raising awareness. Acceptance Activities For Kids

School Programs

This program is designed to help kids and teens build self-confidence, empathy and healthy relationship skills.

Community Programs

We work with community organizations, summer camps, faith-based organizations, and other non-profits.

During our 2019 annual President’s Council of Cornell Women (PCCW) Symposium, Meg gave an impressionable presentation titled “What You Think of Me is None of My Business: Embracing Your Superpower” which embodied our theme of PCCW Celebrates One Cornell: Diversity and Inclusion.” Not only was Meg’s presentation insightful, thoughtful and impactful, but she captivated the audience. Sharing stories about those who go through life with visible and invisible differences made us aware that we all face difficulties and challenges in many ways, but together, through education and awareness, we can be compassionate, loving and caring to everyone, no matter the trials and tribulations ahead.
