Social Emotional Learning Program

We believe that social emotional learning activities for schools can truly make a difference in the world. At the heart of our work at DHIFI is Social Emotional Learning. SEL gives individuals – students in particular – with the resources to understand and control their emotions, build strong interpersonal skills, and make responsible decisions. Increasing awareness of how others experience the world, encouraging the building of strong teams and fostering better communication are just several benefits of SEL activities. The social skills needed for personal success and scholastic success can be laid with these activities as they help build stronger connections. An Inclusion Program For Organizations

In addition to social emotional learning activities, we also focus on a belonging curriculum for universities. At DHIFI, we make sure that everyone feels like they belong, no matter no matter what their gender, race, abilities, or background happen to be. Beyond basic inclusion, we emphasize inclusion and inclusion, with a goal of ensuring equal access to the same opportunities. DHIFI’s mission is to encourage individuals to celebrate the things that make them different through empathy-based activities classroom , founded on the principle that differences should be flaunted, not concealed. Anti-Bullying Programs Emotional Support Workshop For Universities

Bullying is often the result by an absence of understanding and appreciation, which is the reason we’re so committed to disability education curriculum for students. We address the root causes behind bullying and offer students methods to take a stand through interactive activities and open discussions. The importance of empathy, kindness, and respect can’t be overstated. This is the reason students are taught to identify behaviors of bullying in their communities and take a stand them. First Day Of School Activity Ideas

To foster an enhanced sense of belonging and community, you’ll discover empathy-based activities kids at Project Flaunt. We encourage individuals to not only embrace their differences but to express their stories with others through our unique initiative, Project Flaunt. Narrative sharing where students explore how their differences affect their perspectives, group projects that emphasize individual strengths, and introductory exercises where students discuss something special about themselves are examples of these activities. This program is designed to help kids and teens build self-confidence, empathy and healthy relationship skills.

During our 2019 annual President’s Council of Cornell Women (PCCW) Symposium, Meg gave an impressionable presentation titled “What You Think of Me is None of My Business: Embracing Your Superpower” which embodied our theme of PCCW Celebrates One Cornell: Diversity and Inclusion.” Not only was Meg’s presentation insightful, thoughtful and impactful, but she captivated the audience.
