Utilizing the collective experiences of their family with conspicuous differences, Meg and her husband-who share an unusual genetic condition-have inspired DHIFI to grow into a community where celebrating differences is the norm. Since its inception, DHIFI has grown into a force full of energy, empowering educational entities, families, and individuals to accept and showcase their unique qualities, thereby transforming difficulties into prospects for growing and feeling empowered as an individual.

There are many reasons why we stand out at DHIFI for an inclusion program for students. Along with these efforts, DHIFI is committed to wiping out bullying, with techniques that include:

  • Fostering a compassionate culture: When empathy and understanding are cultivated, bullying has no home.
  • Cultivating empathy: Assisting students in seeing the world through the perspectives of others, we reduce the likelihood of behaviors that are exclusionary.
