Our mission at DHIFI is encouraging tolerance and acceptance with the help of social emotional learning programs for companies. Each child’s individuality is something that should be celebrated, and this is something we believe in strongly at DHIFI. Giving children and adolescents the confidence they need to embrace their individuality and stand proudly with confidence is our mission at DHIFI. The work we do helps young people grow into individuals who are confident and compassionate. We provide a inclusion of programs for schools, universities, communities, and corporate settings to this end.

A SEL Program

At the heart of DHIFI is the dedication we have to SEL programs for organizations. We focus on developing the youth’s abilities for emotional understanding, establishing positive goals, cultivating empathic interactions, strengthening relationships, and executing decisions. We magnify SEL’s impact at DHIFI by urging learners to be proud of their individualism, sustained by educational offerings that emphasize increasing the reach of SEL, encouraging students to feel pride when it comes to their individuality, supported by endeavors that include:

  • Story sharing: By sharing their personal experiences, students gain confidence and tackle the obstacles that often lead to bullying.
  • Showcasing uniqueness: Our teachings confirm that distinctive features are beneficial assets, not faults.

We champion the acceptance of oneself and others and promote individual respect from all walks of life, ensuring everyone is aware they have a place, regardless of their differences.

Welcome Activities For Elementary School

At Don’t Hide It Flaunt It, we’ve also created the Project Flaunt Hub, an interactive online platform for self acceptance activities for kids . By celebrating differences, promoting self-acceptance, and fostering a school environment that’s more inclusive, we strive to ensure students feel empowered. Building empathy and confidence among peers is the objective of this initiative, which is capable of being achieved by encouraging students to flaunt their unique qualities and experiences. Emphasizing inclusion and social-emotional learning (SEL), the various resources and activities offered in this curriculum are designed for integration into school curricula. Schools are capable of implementing these activities to create a supportive and understanding community where every student feels valued and accepted. An Inclusion Curriculum For Students

There’s a large number of reasons when it comes to inclusion and belonging activities for communities, DHIFI stands out. Inclusion programs are a critical part of our work at DHIFI, concentrating on initiatives that enhance inclusivity.:

  • Encouraging a culture of compassion: When understanding and empathy are cultivated, bullying has no home.
  • Cultivating empathy: By assisting students in viewing the world through the perspectives of others, we lessen the likelihood of exclusionary behaviors.

Bullying Prevention Workshops For Students

Why choose DHIFI for inclusion activities for corporations? Founded by Meg Zucker, DHIFI is a nonprofit that originated from an experience that’s deeply personal and champions the acceptance of one’s self. Meg and her husband, both with a rare genetic condition impacting their limbs, have three children, with two of them having inherited the condition, forging a family deeply aware of the importance of coming to terms with noticeable differences. From its inception, DHIFI has flourished into a radiant community, inspiring schools, families, and individuals to celebrate their differences only, turning perceived obstacles into springboards for empowerment and growth. To further our mission, speaking engagements are also given by DHIFI founder Meg Zucker. Discover more by getting in touch with us today.

Testimonials

During our 2019 annual President’s Council of Cornell Women (PCCW) Symposium, Meg gave an impressionable presentation titled “What You Think of Me is None of My Business: Embracing Your Superpower” which embodied our theme of PCCW Celebrates One Cornell: Diversity and Inclusion.” Not only was Meg’s presentation insightful, thoughtful and impactful, but she captivated the audience. Sharing stories about those who go through life with visible and invisible differences made us aware that we all face difficulties and challenges in many ways, but together, through education and awareness, we can be compassionate, loving and caring to everyone, no matter the trials and tribulations ahead.

When the U.S. Embassy in Israel hosted Meg Zucker as a Distinguished American Speaker in 2015, the audiences she spoke and met with were deeply inspired by her personal story, her effective advocacy, and the early success of Don’t Hide It, Flaunt It.  Her appearance made a huge impact with advocates for inclusion and acceptance which still resonates today with those who met her.

Daniel Shapiro

former U.S. Ambassador to Israel

Meg is an energetic and engaging speaker who inspires all who meet her with her life story of growing up with a blatant physical difference and parenting kids who share her difference.   Her message of “the things that make me different make me, me” is heartfelt and impactful and resonates with audiences of all ages and backgrounds.  Meg’s mission of building acceptance, tolerance, and empathy is more important now than ever before.  Everyone who has the pleasure of hearing Meg’s story and her vision will be better for it.
