At Don’t Hide It, Flaunt It, our goal is to promote bullying prevention activities for the workplace to help people celebrate the things that make them unique. At Don’t Hide It Flaunt It (DHIFI), we believe in the power of embracing differences and creating environments where everyone can feel seen, heard, and valued. Through our numerous programs, we aim to promote acceptance, empathy, and self-esteem for students from diverse backgrounds.

An Inclusion Program Program

We believe that inclusion workshop for students is truly capable of making a difference in the world. Social Emotional Learning is central of our work at DHIFI. One of the goals of SEL is to assist students in better understanding their emotions, building interpersonal skills, and making responsible choices, with a focus on students. Increasing awareness of how others experience the world, encouraging team building and fostering better communication are simply several advantages of SEL activities. An Inclusion Program For Schools

We also focus on a inclusion curriculum for organizations together with social emotional learning activities. Creating environments where each individual feels a sense of inclusion, no matter their gender, race, abilities, or background is the goal of our Inclusion programs. We don’t settle at inclusion; we work to create inclusion and inclusion where everyone can access the same opportunities. Our programs benefit schools, businesses, and communities with engaging formats that address a broad scope of topics.

Inclusion Activities

At DHIFI, we support self acceptance activities for families for organizations with a broad range of programs designed for schools, companies, and communities. Through motivational talks, our Speaking Engagements work to break down assumptions about differences like disabilities. By encouraging self-expression through art, in addition to encouraging empathy and inclusion, participants experience meaningful activities in our interactive programs. Our student programs initiate an essential dialogue, centered around celebrating uniqueness and building an atmosphere of respect and kindness among peers. Bullying Awareness Programs Disability Education Curriculum For Students

Our focus on disability support curriculum for schools is core to our mission, as bullying frequently stems from a failure in understanding and acceptance of differences. Through interactive activities and open discussions, we address the underlying reasons of bullying and equip students with tools for standing up against it. We highlight the importance of empathy, respect, and kindness, helping students to recognize and challenge behaviors of bullying when they’re encountered in their communities. Our programs are aimed at more than just raising awareness. We want students to become active advocates for real change. School Programs

This program is designed to help kids and teens build self-confidence, empathy and healthy relationship skills.

Community Programs

We work with community organizations, summer camps, faith-based organizations, and other non-profits.

During our 2019 annual President’s Council of Cornell Women (PCCW) Symposium, Meg gave an impressionable presentation titled “What You Think of Me is None of My Business: Embracing Your Superpower” which embodied our theme of PCCW Celebrates One Cornell: Diversity and Inclusion.” Not only was Meg’s presentation insightful, thoughtful and impactful, but she captivated the audience. Sharing stories about those who go through life with visible and invisible differences made us aware that we all face difficulties and challenges in many ways, but together, through education and awareness, we can be compassionate, loving and caring to everyone, no matter the trials and tribulations ahead.
