Here DHIFI, we envision a world where the uniqueness of every child is not simply recognized but actively celebrated. Our mission is to give adolescents and children the confidence they need to accept their unique characteristics and hold their heads high. Our efforts are crucial in helping young people develop into compassionate and confident individuals. To this end, our offerings include a inclusion of programs for schools, universities, corporate settings and communities.

An Inclusion Program Program

The advancement of SEL programs for educators is the cornerstone of DHIFI’s mission. This includes giving younger individuals instruction regarding goal-setting, emotional intelligence, empathy, relationship-building, and making better choices. We magnify SEL’s impact at DHIFI by encouraging learners to celebrate the things that make them unique, supported by offerings for education that emphasize expanding the reach of SEL, inspiring students to feel pride when it comes to their uniqueness, supported by initiatives that include:

  • Sharing narratives: Encouraging individuals to share their stories builds their self-esteem and breaks down the societal constructs that frequently cause bullying.
  • Showcasing uniqueness: Our teachings reinforce that unique attributes are beneficial assets, not shortcomings.

Championing the acceptance of one’s self and the acceptance of others, encouraging regard for diverse backgrounds, and ensuring a feeling of belonging for everybody, regardless of their individuality, are integral parts of our objective.

At Don’t Hide It Flaunt It, we have additionally created the Project Flaunt Hub, an online interactive platform for icebreaker activity ideas families . This program is designed to help kids and teens build self-confidence, empathy and healthy relationship skills.

Community Programs

We work with community organizations, summer camps, faith-based organizations, and other non-profits.

During our 2019 annual President’s Council of Cornell Women (PCCW) Symposium, Meg gave an impressionable presentation titled “What You Think of Me is None of My Business: Embracing Your Superpower” which embodied our theme of PCCW Celebrates One Cornell: Diversity and Inclusion.” Not only was Meg’s presentation insightful, thoughtful and impactful, but she captivated the audience. Sharing stories about those who go through life with visible and invisible differences made us aware that we all face difficulties and challenges in many ways, but together, through education and awareness, we can be compassionate, loving and caring to everyone, no matter the trials and tribulations ahead.
