Encouraging tolerance and acceptance with social emotional learning programs for educators is our mission at Don’t Hide It Flaunt It. Here DHIFI, we want to bring about a world where the uniqueness of every child is not simply recognized but also celebrated. Giving children and adolescents the confidence they need to embrace their individuality and hold their heads high is our mission at DHIFI. The work we do helps young people grow into individuals who are compassionate and confident. To this end, we provide a wide range of programs for schools, universities, corporate settings and communities.

Inclusion Activities

Core to the mission at DHIFI is the advancement of inclusivity curriculum for students. We concentrate on enhancing the youth’s capacity for emotional understanding, establishing positive goals, fostering empathic interactions, building relationships, and executing choices. We amplify the impact of SEL at DHIFI by urging learners to celebrate their individualism, sustained by educational offerings that concentrate on increasing the reach of SEL, encouraging students to feel pride when it comes to their individuality, supported by endeavors that include:

  • Exchanging narratives: Students boost their self-confidence and dismantle social barriers that commonly bring about bullying, by sharing the stories of their own lives.
  • Highlighting individuality: Our teachings confirm that distinctive attributes are beneficial assets, not disadvantages.

Included in our mission, we endorse for self-acceptance and the acceptance of others, nurture respect for people from diverse backgrounds, and make sure everybody feels they belong, despite their differences.

Self Acceptance Activities For Families

To promote social emotional activities for the classroom , Don’t Hide It Flaunt It has also created Project Flaunt, an interactive online platform. By celebrating differences, promoting self-acceptance, and fostering a school environment that’s more inclusive, we strive to empower students. By encouraging students to flaunt their unique experiences and qualities, the initiative seeks to build empathy and confidence among peers. With social-emotional learning (SEL) and inclusion being strongly emphasized, the various resources and activities offered in this curriculum are designed for integration into school curricula. Disability Acceptance Curriculum

This program is designed to help kids and teens build self-confidence, empathy and healthy relationship skills.

Community Programs

We work with community organizations, summer camps, faith-based organizations, and other non-profits.

During our 2019 annual President’s Council of Cornell Women (PCCW) Symposium, Meg gave an impressionable presentation titled “What You Think of Me is None of My Business: Embracing Your Superpower” which embodied our theme of PCCW Celebrates One Cornell: Diversity and Inclusion.” Not only was Meg’s presentation insightful, thoughtful and impactful, but she captivated the audience. Sharing stories about those who go through life with visible and invisible differences made us aware that we all face difficulties and challenges in many ways, but together, through education and awareness, we can be compassionate, loving and caring to everyone, no matter the trials and tribulations ahead.
