At Don’t Hide It, Flaunt It, we strongly believe that schools should be places where students not only learn but also feel appreciated, seen, and acknowledged for who they are. Our organization is committed to promoting inclusion, offering practical tools to teachers to help students connect through social-emotional learning, or SEL activities. Activities like these allow students to grow by creating an environment that’s welcoming.

SEL Programs

We strive to make a real difference in the lives of students by offering inclusion programs for organizations. Students can benefit from our social-emotional learning, or SEL activities in a variety of ways, such as managing emotions, developing healthy relationships, and making informed decisions. While many students get to know each other on the surface during school, they may need a little encouragement to truly connect on a level that’s more meaningful. Giving them the support they need to open up about personal stories is among the best ways. We emphasize using storytelling as a way for students to bond at Don’t Hide It, Flaunt It. DHIFI knows how important it is to empower children with disabilities, which is the reason we’re a proponent of inclusion programs for companies and empathy-based activities elementary school . She has grown to embrace her differences, being born with a genetic condition called ectrodactyly. Helping others do the same is something she has committed her life to. She has had a legal career that has spanned decades and has dedicated herself personally to encouraging compassion and appreciation wherever and whenever possible. These insights have enabled her uplift individuals to embrace the things that make them different. With her leadership and vision, DHIFI continues to offer adults and children alike the motivation they need to embrace their true selves and embrace what makes them extraordinary.

Self Acceptance Activities For Elementary School

Involving students in meaningful discussions about Inclusion, and inclusion can help them reflect how individual experiences are shaped by differences including ability, race, background, and gender. This is why we encourage these discussions. These conversations aren’t just about accepting differences — they’re about celebrating them. This way, students can understand that everybody’s story needs to be shared and valued, and that their differences are something to be proud of with these programs.

Acceptance Activities For Families

Project Flaunt is one of our primary initiatives, offering get to know you activities for students . The Project Flaunt Hub offers participants the chance to reflect their individuality through photos, stories, or artwork. Students are not only able to express the things that make them different with our platform, but they’re able to encourage others as well. By expressing these stories, we’re able to help making classrooms places where inclusion is celebrated, not just acknowledged. Project Flaunt is more than just a place for creativity — it’s a chance for students to discover about themselves and each other, promoting greater understanding and inclusion.

Inclusion And Belonging Programs For Educators

An online interactive platform for social emotional learning activity ideas classroom , Project Flaunt is also an initiative of Don’t Hide It Flaunt It. To further our mission, speaking engagements are also given by DHIFI founder Meg Zucker. School Programs

This program is designed to help kids and teens build self-confidence, empathy and healthy relationship skills.

Community Programs

We work with community organizations, summer camps, faith-based organizations, and other non-profits.

During our 2019 annual President’s Council of Cornell Women (PCCW) Symposium, Meg gave an impressionable presentation titled “What You Think of Me is None of My Business: Embracing Your Superpower” which embodied our theme of PCCW Celebrates One Cornell: Diversity and Inclusion.” Not only was Meg’s presentation insightful, thoughtful and impactful, but she captivated the audience. Sharing stories about those who go through life with visible and invisible differences made us aware that we all face difficulties and challenges in many ways, but together, through education and awareness, we can be compassionate, loving and caring to everyone, no matter the trials and tribulations ahead.
