Inclusion Activities

Why choose DHIFI for SEL activities for students? Launched by Meg Zucker, DHIFI is a nonprofit that emerged from an experience that’s deeply personal and champions self-acceptance. Meg and her husband, both with a unusual genetic condition affecting their limbs, have three children, with two of them having inherited the condition, creating a family deeply aware of the importance of accepting visible differences. DHIFI started as an idea’s seed and in the time that has followed has blossomed into a thriving community, where families and educational institutions are given the encouragement they need to celebrate their differences, transforming potential barriers into empowering opportunities.

Emotional Support Activities

There are many reasons why we stand out at DHIFI for SEL programs for elementary schools. In addition to these initiatives, DHIFI is focused on getting rid of bullying, with techniques that include:

  • Encouraging a culture of compassion: When understanding and empathy are cultivated, bullying finds no place.
  • Cultivating empathy: Assisting students in viewing the world through the perspectives of others, we reduce the likelihood of behaviors that are exclusionary.
