Social Emotional Learning Programs

By offering inclusivity curriculum for organizations, we’re capable of making a real difference in the lives of students. Students are able to become better at manage emotions, build healthy relationships, and make thoughtful decisions with our social-emotional learning, or SEL activities. With a legal career covering decades and a personal commitment to fostering understanding and inclusion, she has used her background to empower individuals to celebrate their uniqueness. Inspiring adults and children alike to be true to themselves and embrace what makes them special is what her leadership and vision is based on.

Providing educators with the resources and guidance to foster a culture of belonging to make this possible is the goal of our Inclusion programs. By providing educators with the appropriate resources and guidance that our Inclusion programs offer, we can build a culture of belonging where students are capable of expressing whatever makes them unique comfortably. We encourage educators to involve students in deep discussions about Inclusion, and inclusion, helping them to reflect on how differences such as race, ability, gender, and background influence individual experiences. These conversations are about celebrating differences, not only accepting them. Understanding that differences are something to be proud of is part of this program. We hold the belief that everybody’s story deserves to be shared.

Icebreaker Activities For The Classroom

This program is designed to help kids and teens build self-confidence, empathy and healthy relationship skills.

During our 2019 annual President’s Council of Cornell Women (PCCW) Symposium, Meg gave an impressionable presentation titled “What You Think of Me is None of My Business: Embracing Your Superpower” which embodied our theme of PCCW Celebrates One Cornell: Diversity and Inclusion.” Not only was Meg’s presentation insightful, thoughtful and impactful, but she captivated the audience. Sharing stories about those who go through life with visible and invisible differences made us aware that we all face difficulties and challenges in many ways, but together, through education and awareness, we can be compassionate, loving and caring to everyone, no matter the trials and tribulations ahead.
