We strive to make a real difference in the lives of students by offering social emotional learning programs for organizations. Students are able to benefit from our social-emotional learning, or SEL activities in many ways, such as managing emotions, developing healthy relationships, and making informed decisions. Many students only get to know each other on a surface level, but building deeper connections is so much more important. Encouraging them to share personal stories is one of the best ways. Helping students view the world through someone else’s eyes through storytelling to enable them to bond is something we emphasize at Don’t Hide It, Flaunt It. This is an example of the real power of empathy-based curriculum.

DHIFI knows how important it is to empower children with disabilities, which is why we advance an inclusion curriculum for universities and welcome activity ideas classroom . Empowering children with special requirements is vital for their development, self-esteem, and feeling of inclusion. She has used her experiences to inspire people to embrace their uniqueness with a legal career spanning decades and a personal dedication to fostering understanding and inclusion. With her vision and leadership, DHIFI continues to give adults and children alike the motivation they need to live authentically and embrace what makes them special.

We encourage educators to involve students in deep discussions about Inclusion, and inclusion, helping them to think on how differences like race, ability, gender, and background shape individual experiences. Actively celebrating differences, not just acknowledging them, is what these conversations are all about. Our programs help students grasp that their differences are something to be proud of and that everyone’s story deserves to be shared and valued.

Welcome Activities For The Classroom

An online interactive platform for acceptance activity ideas kids , Project Flaunt is also an initiative of Don’t Hide It Flaunt It. Participants are able to submit artwork, stories, or photos that reflect their individuality through the Project Flaunt Hub. Students can not only express the things that set them apart with our platform, but they can encourage others as well. Classrooms should be places where inclusion is celebrated, not just accepted, and we know this is possible by sharing these stories. Students can learn more about themselves and others while promoting greater inclusion and understanding, making Project Flaunt so much more than merely a place for creativity.

Inclusion And Belonging Activities For Military Families

To promote self acceptance activities for elementary school and emotional support training for educators, schools can transform into environments that are more welcoming. To further our mission, speaking engagements are also given by DHIFI founder Meg Zucker. We can create stronger, more welcoming communities where each student feels empowered to express who they are by accepting what makes each of us unique.

This program is designed to help kids and teens build self-confidence, empathy and healthy relationship skills.

During our 2019 annual President’s Council of Cornell Women (PCCW) Symposium, Meg gave an impressionable presentation titled “What You Think of Me is None of My Business: Embracing Your Superpower” which embodied our theme of PCCW Celebrates One Cornell: Diversity and Inclusion.” Not only was Meg’s presentation insightful, thoughtful and impactful, but she captivated the audience. Sharing stories about those who go through life with visible and invisible differences made us aware that we all face difficulties and challenges in many ways, but together, through education and awareness, we can be compassionate, loving and caring to everyone, no matter the trials and tribulations ahead.
