A Social Emotional Learning Curriculum

Promoting an SEL curriculum is one of the cornerstones of DHIFI’s efforts. Our programs are crafted to help young people build self-confidence, empathy, and skills for healthy relationships. Social Emotional Learning Programs For Schools

We take inclusivity workshop for students very seriously at DHIFI. Everybody deserves to feel respected and valued. Our inclusion programs are designed to create inclusive spaces to achieve this. We work with community organizations, schools, and corporations to deliver presentations and workshops that highlight how important inclusion is to a well functioning society. At DHIFI, we are dedicated to providing anti-bullying initiatives for organizations. Many have unfortunately experienced the prevalence of bullying in educational settings of all kinds. Our anti-bullying activities strive to fight this issue by promoting empathy and understanding among students. Disability Education Programs For Military Families

At DHIFI, we’re dedicated to advancing our mission with SEL activities for educators in many ways.

  • School Programs: Our school programs are crafted to integrate SEL and inclusion education into the curriculum. Students are engaged in substantive discussions regarding acceptance and respect through these programs, which include workshops, classroom activities, and assemblies.

During our 2019 annual President’s Council of Cornell Women (PCCW) Symposium, Meg gave an impressionable presentation titled “What You Think of Me is None of My Business: Embracing Your Superpower” which embodied our theme of PCCW Celebrates One Cornell: Diversity and Inclusion.” Not only was Meg’s presentation insightful, thoughtful and impactful, but she captivated the audience. Sharing stories about those who go through life with visible and invisible differences made us aware that we all face difficulties and challenges in many ways, but together, through education and awareness, we can be compassionate, loving and caring to everyone, no matter the trials and tribulations ahead.
