At Don’t Hide It, Flaunt It, we further our cause of inclusion and understanding through anti-bullying workshops for universities. The belief that schools should be places where students feel appreciated, and celebrated for who they are while additionally being centers of education is our firm belief at DHIFI. We offer educators provide teachers with practical tools to help students connect with one another through social-emotional learning, or SEL activities as an organization committed to promoting inclusion. Activities like these enable students to grow by creating an environment that’s welcoming.

Social Emotional Learning Program

We strive to make a real difference in the lives of students by providing inclusion programs for universities. Our social-emotional learning, or SEL activities are designed to help students handle emotions, develop healthy relationships, and make thoughtful decisions. A lot of students only get to know each other on the surface, but going deeper is so much more essential. There are many ways to do this, like sharing personal stories. We emphasize using storytelling as a way for students to bond at Don’t Hide It, Flaunt It. This way they can view the world through the eyes of someone else. This is an example of the real power of emotional support training.

A Belonging Program

DHIFI knows how important it is to empower children with disabilities, which is the reason we’re a proponent of empathy-based curriculum for organizations and social emotional activities for elementary school . When children with disabilities are empowered, they feel a sense of belonging, which is essential for their progress and confidence. We strive to help these young people fulfill their full potential by recognizing their distinct talents and providing opportunities to showcase their capabilities. Children with special needs are given the chance to excel both in school and in social settings thanks to the increased resilience and self-esteem promoted by encouraging environments and inclusive programs. Founder and president of Don’t Hide It, Flaunt It, Meg Zucker is among inclusion and inclusion’s most passionate proponents. Born with a genetic condition known as ectrodactyly, Meg has embraced her uniqueness and committed her life to helping others do the same. With a legal career spanning decades and a personal devotion to fostering understanding and acceptance, she has used her insights to inspire people to embrace their uniqueness. Her vision and guidance always motivate children and adults alike to be true to themselves and embrace what makes them special.

First Day Of School Activities

This way, students can recognize that everyone’s story deserves to be heard and appreciated, and that their differences are something to be proud of with these programs.

Welcome Activities For The Classroom

Encouraging educators and students alike to celebrate the things that make them unique with social emotional activities for the classroom . Participants are able to submit artwork, stories, or photos that showcase their individuality through the Project Flaunt Hub. We create a safe space for embracing the things that make them unique and give them the opportunity to encourage others while they’re at it. Classrooms are able to become places where inclusion is not just acknowledged but honored by sharing these stories. Project Flaunt is more than only a creative outlet — it’s a chance for students to discover about themselves and each other, promoting greater understanding and inclusion.

Inclusion And Belonging Activities For Universities

An online interactive platform for welcome activity ideas classroom , Project Flaunt is also an initiative of Don’t Hide It Flaunt It. To further our mission, speaking engagements are also given by DHIFI founder Meg Zucker. We can build stronger, more inclusive communities where each student feels empowered to flaunt who they are by accepting what makes each of us unique.

This program is designed to help kids and teens build self-confidence, empathy and healthy relationship skills.

We work with community organizations, summer camps, faith-based organizations, and other non-profits.

During our 2019 annual President’s Council of Cornell Women (PCCW) Symposium, Meg gave an impressionable presentation titled “What You Think of Me is None of My Business: Embracing Your Superpower” which embodied our theme of PCCW Celebrates One Cornell: Diversity and Inclusion.” Not only was Meg’s presentation insightful, thoughtful and impactful, but she captivated the audience. Sharing stories about those who go through life with visible and invisible differences made us aware that we all face difficulties and challenges in many ways, but together, through education and awareness, we can be compassionate, loving and caring to everyone, no matter the trials and tribulations ahead.
