At Don’t Hide It, Flaunt It, we believe that schools should be places where students don’t just learn but additionally feel seen, appreciated, and celebrated for who they are. We offer teachers provide teachers with practical tools to help students connect with one another through social-emotional learning, or SEL activities as an organization dedicated to promoting inclusion. Activities like these allow students to grow by creating an environment that’s inclusive.

We strive to make a real difference in the lives of students by offering a social emotional learning program for organizations. Our social-emotional learning, or SEL activities are designed to help students handle emotions, develop healthy relationships, and make responsible choices. With a legal career spanning decades and a personal devotion to building empathy and inclusion, she has used her background to inspire individuals to recognize their differences. Encouraging adults and children alike to embrace their true selves and celebrate what makes them special is what her leadership and vision is based on.

Anti-Bullying Training For Organizations

Assisting schools in incorporating inclusion programs for organizations into their core curriculum is something we are committed about. Although a large number of schools offer isolated lessons that incorporate acceptance, we believe we need to go further and embed it within the classroom and curriculum as a whole. Every student should feel confident flaunting what makes them unique. Providing educators with the resources and guidance to foster a culture of belonging that supports this is the goal of our Inclusion programs. By providing educators with the proper guidance and resources that our Inclusion programs offer, we’re able to build a culture of belonging where students can express whatever makes them unique with confidence. Engaging students in meaningful discussions about Inclusion, and inclusion can help them reflect how individual experiences are shaped by differences including race, ability, gender, and background. This is why we encourage these discussions. These conversations are about celebrating differences, not just embracing them. This way, students are able to recognize that everybody’s story needs to be heard and appreciated, and that their differences are something to be confident about with these programs.

Icebreaker Activities For Families

An online interactive platform for first day of school activities , Project Flaunt is also an initiative of Don’t Hide It Flaunt It. Through the Project Flaunt Hub, participants are able to submit artwork, stories, or photos that reflect their individuality. We foster a welcoming space for embracing the things that make them distinct and give them the chance to motivate others while they’re at it. We hold the belief that by expressing these stories, classrooms can transform into places where inclusion isn’t just acknowledged but celebrated. Students can learn more about themselves and others while fostering greater understanding and inclusion, making Project Flaunt so much more than just a creative outlet.

This program is designed to help kids and teens build self-confidence, empathy and healthy relationship skills.

Community Programs

We work with community organizations, summer camps, faith-based organizations, and other non-profits.

During our 2019 annual President’s Council of Cornell Women (PCCW) Symposium, Meg gave an impressionable presentation titled “What You Think of Me is None of My Business: Embracing Your Superpower” which embodied our theme of PCCW Celebrates One Cornell: Diversity and Inclusion.” Not only was Meg’s presentation insightful, thoughtful and impactful, but she captivated the audience. Sharing stories about those who go through life with visible and invisible differences made us aware that we all face difficulties and challenges in many ways, but together, through education and awareness, we can be compassionate, loving and caring to everyone, no matter the trials and tribulations ahead.
