Our organization is dedicated to advancing inclusion, offering practical tools to teachers to help students connect through social-emotional learning, or SEL activities. When it comes to creating inclusive environments where every student are capable of thriving, these activities are essential.

An Inclusion Program

By offering emotional support training for middle schools, we’re capable of making a real difference in the lives of students. Students can benefit from our social-emotional learning, or SEL activities in many ways, like handling emotions, building healthy relationships, and making informed decisions. A large number of students only connect with each other on the surface, but going deeper is so much more important. Encouraging them to share personal stories is one of the best ways. We emphasize using storytelling as a way for students to connect at Don’t Hide It, Flaunt It. This way they can see the world through the eyes of someone else. Her aspiration and leadership continue to inspire children and adults alike to live authentically and accept what makes them extraordinary.

This program is designed to help kids and teens build self-confidence, empathy and healthy relationship skills.

We work with community organizations, summer camps, faith-based organizations, and other non-profits.

During our 2019 annual President’s Council of Cornell Women (PCCW) Symposium, Meg gave an impressionable presentation titled “What You Think of Me is None of My Business: Embracing Your Superpower” which embodied our theme of PCCW Celebrates One Cornell: Diversity and Inclusion.” Not only was Meg’s presentation insightful, thoughtful and impactful, but she captivated the audience. Sharing stories about those who go through life with visible and invisible differences made us aware that we all face difficulties and challenges in many ways, but together, through education and awareness, we can be compassionate, loving and caring to everyone, no matter the trials and tribulations ahead.
