At DHIFI, our goal is encouraging acceptance and tolerance through a SEL program for organizations. Here DHIFI, we want to bring about a world where the uniqueness of every child isn’t just recognized but actively celebrated. Our mission is to give adolescents and children the confidence they need to embrace their individuality and stand proudly with confidence. Helping young people grow into individuals who are confident and compassionate is the focus of the work we do. Our offerings include a wide range of programs for schools, universities, communities, and corporate settings to this end.

Inclusion Activities

The advancement of inclusion and belonging workshop for educators is the cornerstone of DHIFI’s mission. We focus on enhancing the youth’s capacity for emotional comprehension, establishing beneficial goals, cultivating empathic interactions, strengthening relationships, and making informed decisions. At DHIFI, we increase the scope of SEL by inspiring students to take pride in their unique characteristics with programs that highlight individualism.

  • Sharing narratives: Encouraging students to tell their stories strengthens their self-esteem and breaks down the societal constructs that frequently result in bullying.
  • Accentuating individuality: We educate students that their different traits are advantages rather than inadequacies.

We champion the championing yourself an others and others and promote individual respect from all walks of life, guaranteeing everybody knows they have a place, regardless of the differences they have.

Empathy-Based Activities For Middle School

To promote empathy building activities kids , Don’t Hide It Flaunt It has also created an interactive online platform – Project Flaunt. Project Flaunt strives to empower students through the celebration of differences, promoting self-acceptance, and fostering an inclusive school environment. We believe that when students are encouraged to flaunt their unique experiences and qualities, the result is increased empathy and confidence among peers. This is what this initiative is all about. Emphasizing inclusion and social-emotional learning (SEL), the various resources and activities provided in this curriculum are designed to be integrated into school curricula. This program is designed to help kids and teens build self-confidence, empathy and healthy relationship skills.

We work with community organizations, summer camps, faith-based organizations, and other non-profits.

During our 2019 annual President’s Council of Cornell Women (PCCW) Symposium, Meg gave an impressionable presentation titled “What You Think of Me is None of My Business: Embracing Your Superpower” which embodied our theme of PCCW Celebrates One Cornell: Diversity and Inclusion.” Not only was Meg’s presentation insightful, thoughtful and impactful, but she captivated the audience. Sharing stories about those who go through life with visible and invisible differences made us aware that we all face difficulties and challenges in many ways, but together, through education and awareness, we can be compassionate, loving and caring to everyone, no matter the trials and tribulations ahead.
