Each child’s individuality is something that should be celebrated, and this is something we believe in strongly at DHIFI. Our mission is to give adolescents and children the confidence they need to accept their unique characteristics and stand proudly with confidence. The work we do helps young people develop into individuals who are compassionate and confident. Our offerings include a inclusion of programs for schools, universities, corporate settings and communities to this end.

Inclusion Programs

Central to DHIFI’s mission is the promotion of inclusion and belonging workshops for educators. This entails instructing younger individuals on emotional intelligence, goal-setting, relationship-building, empathy, and making better choices. At DHIFI, we increase the scope of SEL by inspiring students to take pride in their distinctive qualities with programs that highlight individualism.

  • Narrative exchange: Students bolster their self-confidence and break down social barriers that commonly lead to bullying, by sharing the stories of their own lives.
  • Accentuating distinctiveness: We educate students that their diverse characteristics are merits rather than inadequacies.

Empathy Building Activities For Students

Bullying Prevention Training For Universities

This program is designed to help kids and teens build self-confidence, empathy and healthy relationship skills.

During our 2019 annual President’s Council of Cornell Women (PCCW) Symposium, Meg gave an impressionable presentation titled “What You Think of Me is None of My Business: Embracing Your Superpower” which embodied our theme of PCCW Celebrates One Cornell: Diversity and Inclusion.” Not only was Meg’s presentation insightful, thoughtful and impactful, but she captivated the audience. Sharing stories about those who go through life with visible and invisible differences made us aware that we all face difficulties and challenges in many ways, but together, through education and awareness, we can be compassionate, loving and caring to everyone, no matter the trials and tribulations ahead.
