Our goal at DHIFI is encouraging acceptance and tolerance with the help of SEL programs for schools. Every child’s individuality is something to be celebrated, and this is something we believe in strongly at DHIFI. Giving children and adolescents the confidence they need to embrace their individuality and hold their heads high is our mission at DHIFI. Our endeavors are essential in helping young people develop into compassionate and confident individuals. Our offerings include a inclusion of programs for schools, universities, communities, and corporate settings to this end.

Inclusion Programs

At the core of DHIFI is the dedication we have to inclusivity curriculum for organizations. Our aim is to teach young minds the ways to navigate their emotions, come up with positive goals, express empathy, forge meaningful relationships, and make better decisions. We magnify the impact of SEL at DHIFI by urging learners to be proud of their individualism, supported by educational offerings that emphasize increasing SEL’s reach, encouraging students to feel pride when it comes to their individuality, which is reinforced by endeavors that include:

  • Narrative exchange: Students boost their self-confidence and dismantle social obstacles that typically result in bullying, by sharing the stories of their own lives.
  • Emphasizing uniqueness: We teach that differences are strengths to be valued, not deficits.

Championing self-acceptance and the acceptance of others, encouraging regard for various backgrounds, and ensuring a sense of belonging for everybody, regardless of their individuality, are key parts of our vision.

SEL Activities For Kids

This program is designed to help kids and teens build self-confidence, empathy and healthy relationship skills.

We work with community organizations, summer camps, faith-based organizations, and other non-profits.

During our 2019 annual President’s Council of Cornell Women (PCCW) Symposium, Meg gave an impressionable presentation titled “What You Think of Me is None of My Business: Embracing Your Superpower” which embodied our theme of PCCW Celebrates One Cornell: Diversity and Inclusion.” Not only was Meg’s presentation insightful, thoughtful and impactful, but she captivated the audience. Sharing stories about those who go through life with visible and invisible differences made us aware that we all face difficulties and challenges in many ways, but together, through education and awareness, we can be compassionate, loving and caring to everyone, no matter the trials and tribulations ahead.
