Disability Education Curriculum For Companies

We’re dedicated to advancing our mission of inclusivity activities for organizations in a variety of ways at DHIFI.

  • School Programs: Our school programs are designed to integrate SEL and inclusion education into the curriculum. Students are engaged in substantive discussions concerning acceptance and respect through these programs, which include workshops, classroom activities, and assemblies.
  • Community Programs: In addition to schools, we work with community organizations, summer camps, faith-based groups, and other non-profits. Having inclusive communities where diversity is celebrated and understanding promoted is what these programs work towards.
  • Corporate Programs: Our goal is for our reach to expand to the corporate sector as well. To achieve this, Inclusion, and Belonging presentations and training sessions are offered so that workplaces that are more inclusive can be created by companies. During our 2019 annual President’s Council of Cornell Women (PCCW) Symposium, Meg gave an impressionable presentation titled “What You Think of Me is None of My Business: Embracing Your Superpower” which embodied our theme of PCCW Celebrates One Cornell: Diversity and Inclusion.” Not only was Meg’s presentation insightful, thoughtful and impactful, but she captivated the audience.
