Find Out About The Power of a Inclusion Curriculum for Schools

Promoting inclusivity program for communities to encourage acceptance and tolerance is what we’re all about at DHIFI. Here DHIFI, we want to bring about a world where the individuality of each young person is not just recognized but something that is celebrated actively. Our mission is to give children and adolescents the confidence they need to embrace their individuality and stand proudly with confidence. Our endeavors are essential in helping young people grow into individuals who are compassionate and confident. We provide a wide range of programs for schools, universities, corporate settings and communities to this end.

An Inclusion Curriculum

Core to the mission at DHIFI is the promotion of a social emotional learning program for students. This entails giving younger individuals instruction regarding goal-setting, emotional intelligence, relationship-building, empathy, and making better choices. At DHIFI, we increase the scope of SEL by inspiring students to embrace their distinctive qualities with programs that highlight individualism.

  • Narrative exchange: Students boost their self-confidence and break down social obstacles that commonly produce bullying, by sharing their own life stories.
  • Accentuating individuality: We enlighten students that their diverse characteristics are advantages rather than inadequacies.

We champion the championing yourself an others and others and promote individual respect from all walks of life, guaranteeing everyone knows they have a place, no matter their differences.

Social Emotional Activities For Students

To promote icebreaker activities for middle school , Don’t Hide It Flaunt It has also created Project Flaunt, an interactive online platform. By promoting self-acceptance, celebrating differences, and fostering an inclusive school environment, we aim to empower students. By encouraging students to flaunt their unique qualities and experiences, the initiative seeks to build confidence and empathy among peers. Various resources and activities designed for integration into school curricula, emphasizing social-emotional learning (SEL) and inclusion are provided by this program. Schools are capable of implementing these activities to create a supportive and understanding community where each student feels valued and accepted. If you’re interested in self acceptance activities for elementary school and want to learn more, visit Project Flaunt.

Social Emotional Learning Curriculum For Elementary Schools

There are many reasons when it comes to a social emotional learning curriculum for organizations, DHIFI stands out. Additionally, at the forefront of our initiatives at DHIFI are inclusion programs that strengthen educational experiences and create an accepting atmosphere.:

  • Promoting a culture of kindness: By fostering mutual understanding, we create an environment where bullying cannot exist.
  • Building empathy: Guiding students to understand various perspectives decreases the chance of exclusion.

Disability Support Training For Schools

DHIFI, created by Meg Zucker, isn’t just a nonprofit; it’s the realization of a personal journey toward self-acceptance. Tapping into their family’s collective experiences with obvious differences, Meg and her husband-who share a rare genetic condition-have inspired DHIFI to grow into a community where sharing differences is completely normal. Since its inception, DHIFI has grown into a force full of energy, empowering educational facilities, individuals and families to accept and showcase their unique qualities, thereby transforming challenges into opportunities for collective growth and personal empowerment. To further our mission, speaking engagements are also given by DHIFI founder Meg Zucker. Discover more by getting in touch with us today.

Testimonials

During our 2019 annual President’s Council of Cornell Women (PCCW) Symposium, Meg gave an impressionable presentation titled “What You Think of Me is None of My Business: Embracing Your Superpower” which embodied our theme of PCCW Celebrates One Cornell: Diversity and Inclusion.” Not only was Meg’s presentation insightful, thoughtful and impactful, but she captivated the audience. Sharing stories about those who go through life with visible and invisible differences made us aware that we all face difficulties and challenges in many ways, but together, through education and awareness, we can be compassionate, loving and caring to everyone, no matter the trials and tribulations ahead.

When the U.S. Embassy in Israel hosted Meg Zucker as a Distinguished American Speaker in 2015, the audiences she spoke and met with were deeply inspired by her personal story, her effective advocacy, and the early success of Don’t Hide It, Flaunt It.  Her appearance made a huge impact with advocates for inclusion and acceptance which still resonates today with those who met her.

Daniel Shapiro

former U.S. Ambassador to Israel

Meg is an energetic and engaging speaker who inspires all who meet her with her life story of growing up with a blatant physical difference and parenting kids who share her difference.   Her message of “the things that make me different make me, me” is heartfelt and impactful and resonates with audiences of all ages and backgrounds.  Meg’s mission of building acceptance, tolerance, and empathy is more important now than ever before.  Everyone who has the pleasure of hearing Meg’s story and her vision will be better for it.
