At Don’t Hide It, Flaunt It, we believe that schools should be places where students don’t just learn but additionally feel seen, appreciated, and celebrated for who they are. Our organization is committed to advancing inclusion, providing practical tools to educators to help students connect through social-emotional learning, or SEL activities. When it comes to building inclusive environments where each student are capable of thriving, these activities are critical.

Inclusion And Belonging Programs

We strive to make a real difference in the lives of students by providing SEL activities for universities. Our social-emotional learning, or SEL activities are created to help students manage emotions, develop healthy relationships, and make responsible choices. While a large number of students connect with each other on the surface during school, they might need some encouragement to truly connect on a more meaningful level. Among the best ways to achieve this is by encouraging them to share their personal stories. We focus on using storytelling as a way for students to connect at Don’t Hide It, Flaunt It. DHIFI knows how important it is to empower children with disabilities, which is why we advance social emotional learning programs for universities and acceptance activities for elementary school . Founder and president of Don’t Hide It, Flaunt It, Meg Zucker is among inclusion and inclusion’s most dedicated advocates. Born with a genetic condition known as ectrodactyly, Meg has accepted her individuality and committed her life to helping others do the same. She has used her insights to empower people to recognize their special qualities with a legal career covering decades and a personal commitment to building understanding and acceptance. Her vision and inspiration continue to motivate children and adults alike to embrace their true selves and celebrate what makes them unique.

Welcome Activities For Elementary School

Self Acceptance Activities For Families

To promote acceptance activity ideas classroom . Participants are able to share stories, artwork, or photos that showcase their individuality through the Project Flaunt Hub. We create a safe space for celebrating the things that make them unique and offer them the opportunity to motivate others while they’re at it. We hold the belief that by expressing these stories, classrooms can become places where inclusion is not just acknowledged but celebrated. Project Flaunt is more than merely a place for creativity — it’s a chance for students to discover about themselves and each other, promoting greater understanding and inclusion.

This program is designed to help kids and teens build self-confidence, empathy and healthy relationship skills.

We work with community organizations, summer camps, faith-based organizations, and other non-profits.

During our 2019 annual President’s Council of Cornell Women (PCCW) Symposium, Meg gave an impressionable presentation titled “What You Think of Me is None of My Business: Embracing Your Superpower” which embodied our theme of PCCW Celebrates One Cornell: Diversity and Inclusion.” Not only was Meg’s presentation insightful, thoughtful and impactful, but she captivated the audience. Sharing stories about those who go through life with visible and invisible differences made us aware that we all face difficulties and challenges in many ways, but together, through education and awareness, we can be compassionate, loving and caring to everyone, no matter the trials and tribulations ahead.
