A Belonging Program

DHIFI, created by Meg Zucker, is more than a nonprofit; it’s the embodiment of a personal journey toward self-acceptance. Meg and her husband, both with a rare genetic condition impacting their limbs, have three children, two of whom inherited the condition, forging a family deeply aware of the importance of accepting visible differences. Since its inception, DHIFI has grown into a force full of energy, empowering educational facilities, families, and individuals to accept and showcase the qualities that make them unique, thereby turning obstacles into prospects for collective growth and personal empowerment.

Sel Program For Elementary Schools

There’s a large number of reasons when it comes to inclusion and belonging programs for students, DHIFI stands out. Belonging programs are a vital aspect of our work at DHIFI, specializing in initiatives that enhance inclusivity.:

  • Encouraging a compassionate culture: When understanding and empathy are cultivated, bullying has no home.
  • Cultivating empathy: By assisting students in seeing the world through the perspectives of others, we reduce the likelihood of exclusionary behaviors.
