I Have Alopecia By Victoria Agostino (Age 10)

What is Alopecia? I am very lucky to have Alopecia because  I am healthy.  Alopecia is just a thing that someone is born with or gets it at any age. It is where your hair follicles don’t recognize the thing that helps your hair grow. So then, it is the thing that helps it to grow that attacks the follicles which causes the hair to fall out.

It is NOT contagious and I am totally healthy!
