A cartoon peacock named Parker stands on a colorful background with a speech bubble saying, "Hi, I'm Parker the Peacock! I will be your guide at the Project Flaunt Hub, where we explore our SEL curriculum!" The peacock has vibrant, geometric tail feathers.

What Is It?

The Project Flaunt Hub is an online, interactive program designed for you to share and celebrate what makes you, you with your family and/or caregivers.

Who Can Benefit?

The Project Flaunt Hub is aimed at elementary and/or middle-grade students and military/veteran communities, their families, and caregivers.

Why Participate?

You’ll have the opportunity to discover the benefits of sharing your visible and/or invisible differences and learn that what makes you, you can be something to celebrate.

First Day Of School Activity Ideas

At Project Flaunt you’re going to discover icebreaker activities for students perfect for discovering the things that make you genuinely unique and sharing them with others. Everyone has differences that make them unique, both visible and invisible. Project Flaunt aims to help students, families and everyone else celebrate these differences and work towards radical self-acceptance. Our online platform is a tool aimed both children and families, with a special emphasis on military and veteran communities.

Self Acceptance Activities For Students

When it comes to icebreaker activities for students, self reflection is an essential part. We don’t typically take time in our everyday life to think about the things that make us unique. When you reflect on and share with others what makes you, you, the world opens up. People start to see each other in a completely new light. You aren’t alone if you’re not sure where to start. Project Flaunt offers ideas for self acceptance activities for students for this reason. Consider things that make you unique. This is capable of being your mind, body, family, or your daily life.

SEL Activities For The Classroom

The belief that every individual has unique qualities that should be celebrated is at the center of Project Flaunt’s mission with welcome activities for students. Families and students are encouraged to share the things that make them special and embrace their authentic selves through carefully crafted activities and exercises. By participating in these activities, students are capable of developing an increased sense of self-awareness and self-acceptance, laying the groundwork for a positive self-image and increased confidence.

When it comes to get to know you activities for elementary school from Project Flaunt, self-discovery is just the beginning. Our communities have so much to offer, and Project Flaunt is an excellent place to begin to discover and appreciate this. Through get-to-know-you activities and icebreakers, participants have the chance to make meaningful connections with others. They learn to listen actively, share their own stories, and develop empathy for those around them. This fosters a sense of belonging and creates an environment where everyone feels valued and respected.

Social Emotional Activities For Elementary School

Versatility is one of the standout features of icebreaker activities for students from Project Flaunt. The activities are designed to be capable of being easily adapted for various age groups and settings, making it a valuable resource for parents, educators, and leaders in the community alike. Whether you are interested in enhancing your classroom’s social-emotional learning curriculum, strengthening family bonds, or building a more cohesive school community, Project Flaunt has something to offer everyone.

Inclusion and Belonging Programs

DHIFI, created by Meg Zucker, is more than a nonprofit; it’s the embodiment of a personal journey toward self-acceptance. With the individual insight of living with a unique genetic condition impacting her and her husband’s limbs, and with two of their three children inheriting the condition, Meg has steered DHIFI into a platform that celebrates visible differences. From its inception, DHIFI has flourished into a radiant community, inspiring families, schools, and individuals to openly celebrate their differences, turning things that were perceived as obstacles into springboards for empowerment and growth.

Disability Support Programs

There are many reasons why we stand out at DHIFI for SEL activities for students. Belonging programs are a vital part of our work at DHIFI, devoted to initiatives that enhance inclusion and belonging.:

  • Promoting benevolence: Mutual comprehension helps make the environment unsuitable for bullying.
  • Building empathy: Guiding students to embrace various perspectives reduces the chance of exclusion.
