SEL Programs
DHIFI, created by Meg Zucker, isn’t just a nonprofit; it’s the realization of a personal journey toward self-acceptance. Tapping into the collective experiences of their family with conspicuous differences, Meg and her husband-who share a rare genetic condition-have inspired DHIFI to become a community where sharing differences is completely normal. Since its inception, DHIFI has grown into a dynamic force, empowering educational entities, families, and individuals to accept and showcase their unique qualities, thereby transforming difficulties into opportunities for growing and feeling empowered as an individual.
Emotional Support Program
There’s a large number of reasons why we stand out at DHIFI for an inclusion program for schools. Moreover, at the forefront of our efforts at DHIFI are inclusion and belonging programs that strengthen educational experiences and build an accepting atmosphere.:
- Encouraging a compassionate culture: When empathy and understanding are nurtured, bullying has no home.
- Cultivating empathy: Assisting students in seeing the world through others’ perspectives, we reduce the likelihood of behaviors that are exclusionary.
