We believe that social emotional learning programs for students can truly make a difference in the world. At the heart of DHIFI’s work is Social Emotional Learning. SEL gives individuals – students in particular – with the tools to understand and control their emotions, build strong social connections, and improve decision-making skills. SEL activities are able to increase awareness of the experiences of others, foster team building and encourage better communication. The social skills needed for personal success and scholastic success can be laid with these activities as they help build stronger connections. SEL Programs For Universities

We also focus on inclusion programs for educators together with social emotional learning activities. At DHIFI, we work hard to ensure that everybody feels included, no matter their gender, race, abilities, or background. Beyond basic inclusion, we emphasize inclusion and inclusion, with a goal of ensuring everyone has access to the same opportunities. Our programs target schools, corporations, and communities with interactive formats that address a broad scope of topics.

Through inspirational talks, our Speaking Engagements work to break down preconceived notions about disabilities and other differences. By promoting personal creativity through art, in addition to fostering empathy and inclusion, participants engage in impactful activities in our interactive programs. Central to our mission at DHIFI is our focus on bullying prevention activities for students. A lack of understanding and recognition of differences is what often leads to bullying. We target the core issues behind bullying and offer students methods to defend themselves through interactive activities and candid discussions. We stress the importance of respect, empathy, and kindness, teaching students to identify and oppose bullying behaviors in their communities. These programs raise awareness as well as build safer, more supportive environments for all by empowering students to transform into advocates for change. Get To Know You Activities For Kids

Project Flaunt offers self acceptance activity ideas students that foster a sense of belonging and community. School Programs

This program is designed to help kids and teens build self-confidence, empathy and healthy relationship skills.

Community Programs

We work with community organizations, summer camps, faith-based organizations, and other non-profits.

During our 2019 annual President’s Council of Cornell Women (PCCW) Symposium, Meg gave an impressionable presentation titled “What You Think of Me is None of My Business: Embracing Your Superpower” which embodied our theme of PCCW Celebrates One Cornell: Diversity and Inclusion.” Not only was Meg’s presentation insightful, thoughtful and impactful, but she captivated the audience.
