Social Emotional Learning Program

We believe that an inclusion program for educators can truly make a difference in the world. Social Emotional Learning is a core part of our work at DHIFI. SEL equips individuals, especially students, with the skills to process and control emotions, develop strong social skills, and make informed decisions. Increasing awareness of the experiences of others, encouraging the building of strong teams and fostering enhanced communication are just several advantages of SEL activities. Building connections with themselves and others, these activities help establish the social skills necessary for self-growth and scholastic success. An Inclusion Program For Universities

We also focus on inclusion activities for educators in addition to social emotional learning activities. At DHIFI, we make sure that everybody feels like they belong, regardless of no matter what their gender, race, background, or abilities happen to be. School Programs

This program is designed to help kids and teens build self-confidence, empathy and healthy relationship skills.

During our 2019 annual President’s Council of Cornell Women (PCCW) Symposium, Meg gave an impressionable presentation titled “What You Think of Me is None of My Business: Embracing Your Superpower” which embodied our theme of PCCW Celebrates One Cornell: Diversity and Inclusion.” Not only was Meg’s presentation insightful, thoughtful and impactful, but she captivated the audience. Sharing stories about those who go through life with visible and invisible differences made us aware that we all face difficulties and challenges in many ways, but together, through education and awareness, we can be compassionate, loving and caring to everyone, no matter the trials and tribulations ahead.
