An Inclusion Program Program

We believe that emotional support training for universities can truly make a difference in the world. Social Emotional Learning is a key focus of DHIFI’s work. One of the goals of SEL is to help individuals more effectively manage their emotions, strengthen interpersonal skills, and make informed, thoughtful decisions, with a focus on students. Increasing awareness of the experiences of others, encouraging the building of strong teams and fostering enhanced communication are just several benefits of SEL activities. Belonging Programs For Universities

We also focus on a inclusion program for schools in addition to social emotional learning activities. Our Inclusion programs are structured to build environments where every individual can feel they belong, no matter their gender, race, abilities, or background. Beyond basic inclusion, we promote inclusion and inclusion, with a goal of making sure equal access to the same opportunities. At DHIFI, we promote icebreaker activities for middle school for organizations with a variety of programs tailored to schools, companies, and communities. Our Speaking Engagements feature motivational talks that challenge assumptions about disabilities and differences. This program is designed to help kids and teens build self-confidence, empathy and healthy relationship skills.

We work with community organizations, summer camps, faith-based organizations, and other non-profits.

During our 2019 annual President’s Council of Cornell Women (PCCW) Symposium, Meg gave an impressionable presentation titled “What You Think of Me is None of My Business: Embracing Your Superpower” which embodied our theme of PCCW Celebrates One Cornell: Diversity and Inclusion.” Not only was Meg’s presentation insightful, thoughtful and impactful, but she captivated the audience. Sharing stories about those who go through life with visible and invisible differences made us aware that we all face difficulties and challenges in many ways, but together, through education and awareness, we can be compassionate, loving and caring to everyone, no matter the trials and tribulations ahead.
