An Inclusion Program Program

We believe that emotional support training for students is truly capable of making a difference in the world. At the core of our work at DHIFI is Social Emotional Learning. The tools of SEL equip individuals, especially students, with the knowledge to process and control emotions, build interpersonal relationships, and make responsible choices. SEL activities can increase awareness of the experiences of others, foster team building and foster enhanced communication. Building connections with themselves and others, these activities lay the groundwork the social skills needed for personal success and scholastic success. A Belonging Program For Companies

We also focus on inclusion activities for students together with social emotional learning activities. Our Inclusion programs are built to build environments where every individual can feel they belong, regardless of their gender, race, background, or abilities. More than just inclusion, we promote inclusion and inclusion, with a goal of making sure everyone has access to the same opportunities. Our programming is ideal for schools, businesses, and community groups, with engaging formats that tackle an array of topics.

SEL Activities For Families

Empowering individuals to totally flaunt what makes them unique through SEL activities for the classroom has been our goal at DHIFI from the very beginning, as we believe that differences should not be hidden; they should be flaunted. This program is designed to help kids and teens build self-confidence, empathy and healthy relationship skills.

We work with community organizations, summer camps, faith-based organizations, and other non-profits.

During our 2019 annual President’s Council of Cornell Women (PCCW) Symposium, Meg gave an impressionable presentation titled “What You Think of Me is None of My Business: Embracing Your Superpower” which embodied our theme of PCCW Celebrates One Cornell: Diversity and Inclusion.” Not only was Meg’s presentation insightful, thoughtful and impactful, but she captivated the audience. Sharing stories about those who go through life with visible and invisible differences made us aware that we all face difficulties and challenges in many ways, but together, through education and awareness, we can be compassionate, loving and caring to everyone, no matter the trials and tribulations ahead.
