Each individual deserves to feel recognized, valued and heard. At Don’t Hide It Flaunt It (DHIFI), we nurture environments that allow for this can happen by fostering uniqueness. We aim to promote acceptance, self-confidence and empathy for people of diverse backgrounds through a variety of programs.

Belonging Programs

We believe that inclusivity workshops for organizations can truly make a difference in the world. At the heart of our work at DHIFI is Social Emotional Learning. SEL equips individuals, especially students, with the skills to process and manage emotions, build interpersonal relationships, and make responsible choices. SEL activities offer many benefits for both individuals and teams. Some examples include improvements in communication, better empathic understanding, and the building of strong teams. Connecting with themselves and others, these activities help establish the social skills needed for personal success and scholastic success. A Social Emotional Learning Curriculum For Students

Together with social emotional learning activities, we also focus on an inclusion curriculum for educators. Fostering spaces where everyone feels a sense of inclusion, no matter their gender, race, background, or abilities is the aim of our Inclusion programs. We don’t settle at inclusion; we work to create inclusion and inclusion where each person can access the same opportunities. Schools, communities, and corporations are all capable of benefitting from our interactive programs, which touch on a wide array of topics.

Belonging Activities

At DHIFI, we support SEL activity ideas students for military families with a variety of programs tailored to schools, companies, and communities. Disability Support Curriculum Disability Education Initiatives For Schools

Our focus on anti-bullying workshops for organizations is central to our mission, as bullying often stems from a lack of understanding and acceptance of differences. We address the root causes behind bullying and offer students tools to oppose it through interactive activities and candid discussions. We highlight the importance of empathy, respect, and kindness, teaching students to recognize and oppose behaviors of bullying in their communities. These programs spread awareness as well as create safer, more supportive environments for all by empowering students to transform into advocates for change. Self Acceptance Activity Ideas For Elementary School

Our Programs

Our social emotional learning (SEL) and empathy-building programs are designed to build acceptance and empathy and create cultures of inclusion for schools, communities, companies, and beyond.

School Programs

This program is designed to help kids and teens build self-confidence, empathy and healthy relationship skills.

Community Programs

We work with community organizations, summer camps, faith-based organizations, and other non-profits.

During our 2019 annual President’s Council of Cornell Women (PCCW) Symposium, Meg gave an impressionable presentation titled “What You Think of Me is None of My Business: Embracing Your Superpower” which embodied our theme of PCCW Celebrates One Cornell: Diversity and Inclusion.” Not only was Meg’s presentation insightful, thoughtful and impactful, but she captivated the audience. Sharing stories about those who go through life with visible and invisible differences made us aware that we all face difficulties and challenges in many ways, but together, through education and awareness, we can be compassionate, loving and caring to everyone, no matter the trials and tribulations ahead.
