We believe that inclusion programs for universities is truly capable of making a difference in the world. At the heart of DHIFI’s work is Social Emotional Learning. The tools of SEL equip individuals, especially students, with the knowledge to process and manage emotions, develop interpersonal relationships, and make responsible choices. SEL activities offer a lot of benefits for teams and individuals alike. A few examples include improvements in communication, better empathic understanding, and the building of strong teams. Emotional Support Curriculum Disability Education Activities For Universities

Bullying is often caused by an absence of understanding and appreciation, which is the reason we’re so focused to bullying awareness programs for high schools. Through interactive activities and honest discussions, we address the underlying reasons of bullying and equip students with tools to take action against it. We highlight the importance of respect, empathy, and kindness, helping students to identify and oppose bullying behaviors when they’re encountered in their communities. This program is designed to help kids and teens build self-confidence, empathy and healthy relationship skills.

During our 2019 annual President’s Council of Cornell Women (PCCW) Symposium, Meg gave an impressionable presentation titled “What You Think of Me is None of My Business: Embracing Your Superpower” which embodied our theme of PCCW Celebrates One Cornell: Diversity and Inclusion.” Not only was Meg’s presentation insightful, thoughtful and impactful, but she captivated the audience.
