At Don’t Hide It Flaunt It (DHIFI), we have a strong belief in the power of embracing differences and creating environments where everyone can feel recognized, heard, and valued. Inclusion Programs

We believe that an inclusion program for educators is truly capable of making a difference in the world. Social Emotional Learning is a core part of DHIFI’s work. One of the goals of SEL is to help individuals better understand their emotions, build interpersonal skills, and make informed, thoughtful decisions, with a focus on students. SEL activities offer many benefits for both teams and individuals. Some examples include better communication, better empathic understanding, and the building of strong teams. The social skills needed for self-growth and scholastic success can be established with these activities as they help build stronger connections. Inclusion Activities For Military Families

We also focus on a inclusion curriculum for students in addition to social emotional learning activities. Our Inclusion programs are structured to create environments where everyone feels they are included, regardless of their gender, race, background, or abilities. We don’t just stop at inclusion; we work to foster inclusion and inclusion where each person can access the same opportunities. Our programs target schools, businesses, and communities with engaging formats that cover a broad scope of topics.

Bullying Prevention Activities Disability Education Workshop For Educators

Bullying is often caused by a lack of understanding and appreciation, which is why we are so focused to disability education workshops for organizations. Through interactive activities and honest discussions, we address the underlying reasons of bullying and ensure students are equipped with tools for speaking up against it. We highlight the importance of empathy, respect, and kindness, teaching students to recognize and challenge behaviors of bullying when they’re encountered in their communities. Our programs are aimed at more than simply raising awareness. Our goal is for students to transform into active advocates for meaningful change. Acceptance Activities For The Classroom

This program is designed to help kids and teens build self-confidence, empathy and healthy relationship skills.

We work with community organizations, summer camps, faith-based organizations, and other non-profits.

During our 2019 annual President’s Council of Cornell Women (PCCW) Symposium, Meg gave an impressionable presentation titled “What You Think of Me is None of My Business: Embracing Your Superpower” which embodied our theme of PCCW Celebrates One Cornell: Diversity and Inclusion.” Not only was Meg’s presentation insightful, thoughtful and impactful, but she captivated the audience. Sharing stories about those who go through life with visible and invisible differences made us aware that we all face difficulties and challenges in many ways, but together, through education and awareness, we can be compassionate, loving and caring to everyone, no matter the trials and tribulations ahead.
