At Don’t Hide It Flaunt It (DHIFI), we create environments where this can happen by fostering uniqueness. Through our numerous programs, we strive to promote inclusion, empathy, and personal growth for individuals of all backgrounds.

Inclusion Programs

We believe that emotional support training for students is truly capable of making a difference in the world. At the core of our work at DHIFI is Social Emotional Learning. One of the goals of SEL is to assist students in better understanding their emotions, building interpersonal skills, and making responsible choices, with a focus on students. SEL activities offer many benefits for both individuals and teams. A few examples include improvements in communication, better empathic understanding, and the building of strong teams. Building connections with themselves and others, these activities help establish the social skills needed for personal success and scholastic success. An Inclusion Curriculum For Companies

In addition to social emotional learning activities, we additionally focus on belonging activities for military families. Our Inclusion programs are designed to create environments where everyone can feel they are included, regardless of their race, gender, background, or abilities. We don’t settle at inclusion; we work to create inclusion and inclusion where each person can access the same opportunities. Our programs benefit schools, businesses, and communities with interactive formats that cover topics across a wide range.

What we aim for is to create a world where inclusion is celebrated and appreciated, whether that is through sharing stories, keynote talks, or seminars. We aim to address bullying’s core issues and provide students with strategies to stand up against it when they encounter it daily. This is done via interactive program and candid discussions. We highlight the importance of empathy, respect, and kindness, teaching students to identify and challenge behaviors of bullying in their communities. Our programs are focused on more than just educating. Our goal is for students to become active advocates for meaningful change. This program is designed to help kids and teens build self-confidence, empathy and healthy relationship skills.

During our 2019 annual President’s Council of Cornell Women (PCCW) Symposium, Meg gave an impressionable presentation titled “What You Think of Me is None of My Business: Embracing Your Superpower” which embodied our theme of PCCW Celebrates One Cornell: Diversity and Inclusion.” Not only was Meg’s presentation insightful, thoughtful and impactful, but she captivated the audience. Sharing stories about those who go through life with visible and invisible differences made us aware that we all face difficulties and challenges in many ways, but together, through education and awareness, we can be compassionate, loving and caring to everyone, no matter the trials and tribulations ahead.
