Inclusion Programs

Social Emotional Learning (SEL) is at the heart of our efforts. Our programs are crafted to help children and teens develop empathy, self-confidence and healthy relationship skills. We offer an array of SEL activities customized to foster an inclusive environment in schools, communities, and business settings. These activities encourage students to understand and appreciate their own and others’ distinctive qualities, fostering a culture of empathy and acceptance. Get To Know You Activities For Families

Belonging Activities For High Schools

At DHIFI, we take social emotional learning programs for students very seriously. Everyone deserves to feel respected and valued. Anti-Bullying Program

At DHIFI, we’re dedicated to providing disability awareness program for universities. A large number of people have unfortunately experienced first-hand the prevalence of bullying in educational settings of all kinds. Our anti-bullying activities aim to combat this issue by promoting empathy and understanding among students. Bullying behavior isn’t just capable of being recognized but also addressed with the strategies and tools we provide. This assists in creating an environment that is safer and more supportive. When the importance of respecting differences is highlighted, a sense of responsibility is developed in students that leads them to create a community that is free of bullies. Bullying Awareness Initiatives

At DHIFI, we advance our mission with anti-bullying training for organizations in many ways.

  • School Programs: Our school programs are crafted to integrate SEL and inclusion education into the curriculum. These programs include classroom activities, workshops, and assemblies where students are engaged in substantive discussions regarding respect and acceptance.
  • Community Programs: Our goal is to extend our reach beyond the classroom by working with community organizations, summer camps, faith-based groups, and other non-profits. Having inclusive communities that celebrate inclusion and promote understanding is what these programs work towards.
  • Corporate Programs: We aim for our reach to expand to the corporate sector as well. As part of this goal, Inclusion, and Belonging presentations and training sessions are offered so that more inclusive workspaces can be created by companies. The specific needs of each organization are taken into account with these programs. A culture of respect and acceptance among employees is promoted by these programs.

Our goal at DHIFI is to inspire individuals to embrace their unique differences and foster an inclusive and empathic culture. Through our social emotional learning activities, self acceptance activities for students , inclusion programs, and anti-bullying activities, our goal is to create environments where everybody feels respected and valued.

We work with community organizations, summer camps, faith-based organizations, and other non-profits.

During our 2019 annual President’s Council of Cornell Women (PCCW) Symposium, Meg gave an impressionable presentation titled “What You Think of Me is None of My Business: Embracing Your Superpower” which embodied our theme of PCCW Celebrates One Cornell: Diversity and Inclusion.” Not only was Meg’s presentation insightful, thoughtful and impactful, but she captivated the audience. Sharing stories about those who go through life with visible and invisible differences made us aware that we all face difficulties and challenges in many ways, but together, through education and awareness, we can be compassionate, loving and caring to everyone, no matter the trials and tribulations ahead.
