Disability Support Training For Schools

We advance our mission of anti-bullying program for organizations in a variety of ways at DHIFI.

  • School Programs: Our school programs are designed to integrate inclusion and SEL education into the curriculum. Students are engaged in substantive discussions regarding acceptance and respect through these programs, which include workshops, classroom activities, and assemblies.
  • Community Programs: Our reach extends beyond schools by collaborating with community organizations, summer camps, faith-based groups, and other non-profits. These programs strive to build inclusive communities that promote understanding and celebrate inclusion.
  • Corporate Programs: We offer Inclusion presentations and training sessions that help companies create more inclusive workplaces as part of our goal of expanding our reach to the corporate sector. During our 2019 annual President’s Council of Cornell Women (PCCW) Symposium, Meg gave an impressionable presentation titled “What You Think of Me is None of My Business: Embracing Your Superpower” which embodied our theme of PCCW Celebrates One Cornell: Diversity and Inclusion.” Not only was Meg’s presentation insightful, thoughtful and impactful, but she captivated the audience. Sharing stories about those who go through life with visible and invisible differences made us aware that we all face difficulties and challenges in many ways, but together, through education and awareness, we can be compassionate, loving and caring to everyone, no matter the trials and tribulations ahead.
