At Don’t Hide It, Flaunt It, we’re here to promote an inclusion program for educators to help individuals celebrate the things that make them unique. At Don’t Hide It Flaunt It (DHIFI), we believe in the power of embracing differences and building environments where every individual can feel seen, heard, and valued. Our goal is to promote acceptance, empathy, and self-confidence for individuals of diverse backgrounds through a variety of programs.

We believe that belonging initiatives for educators is truly capable of making a difference in the world. At the heart of DHIFI’s work is Social Emotional Learning. One of the goals of SEL is to help individuals more effectively manage their emotions, strengthen interpersonal skills, and make more responsible decisions, with a focus on students. SEL activities offer many benefits for individuals and teams alike. A few examples include improvements in communication, better empathic understanding, and stronger team building. These exercises assist students connect with themselves and others, building the foundational social skills necessary for achievement, both personally and academically. Inclusion Programs For Students

In addition to social emotional learning activities, we additionally focus on a inclusion program for organizations. At DHIFI, we make sure that everybody feels included, no matter their gender, race, abilities, or background. More than just inclusion, we promote inclusion and inclusion, with a goal of making certain everyone has access to the same opportunities. Our programs target schools, corporations, and communities with interactive formats that cover a broad scope of topics.

Through motivational talks, our Speaking Engagements work to break down assumptions about differences like disabilities. Anti-Bullying Activities Bullying Prevention Workshops For Military Families

Our focus on disability support program for educators is central to our mission, as bullying often stems from a lack of understanding and acceptance of differences. We aim to address bullying’s core issues and provide students with strategies to stand up against it when they encounter it daily. This is achieved through candid discussions and interactive programs. Providing students with the tools and knowledge they need to recognize behaviors of bullying around them and to oppose them, we emphasize kindness, respect, and empathy. Our programs are aimed at more than just raising awareness. Our goal is for students to transform into active advocates for meaningful change. Acceptance Activities For The Classroom

Fostering a sense of community and inclusion, Project Flaunt provides acceptance activity ideas classroom . We inspire individuals to not only celebrate their differences but to share their stories with others through our unique initiative, Project Flaunt. This program is designed to help kids and teens build self-confidence, empathy and healthy relationship skills.

Community Programs

We work with community organizations, summer camps, faith-based organizations, and other non-profits.

During our 2019 annual President’s Council of Cornell Women (PCCW) Symposium, Meg gave an impressionable presentation titled “What You Think of Me is None of My Business: Embracing Your Superpower” which embodied our theme of PCCW Celebrates One Cornell: Diversity and Inclusion.” Not only was Meg’s presentation insightful, thoughtful and impactful, but she captivated the audience. Sharing stories about those who go through life with visible and invisible differences made us aware that we all face difficulties and challenges in many ways, but together, through education and awareness, we can be compassionate, loving and caring to everyone, no matter the trials and tribulations ahead.
