At Don’t Hide It Flaunt It (DHIFI), we have a strong belief in the power of embracing differences and building environments where everyone is capable of feeling recognized, heard, and valued. Our goal is to promote acceptance, self-confidence and empathy for individuals of diverse backgrounds through a range of programs.

Inclusion Programs

We believe that empathy-based program for schools can truly make a difference in the world. Social Emotional Learning is a core part of our work at DHIFI. The aim of SEL is to assist students in better understanding their emotions, building interpersonal skills, and making responsible choices, with a focus on students. Increasing awareness of how others experience the world, encouraging the building of strong teams and fostering enhanced communication are just a few advantages of SEL activities. These exercises assist students connect with themselves and others, building the essential social skills required for achievement, both personally and academically. An Inclusion Program For Military Families

We also focus on inclusion activities for educators in addition to social emotional learning activities. At DHIFI, we work hard to ensure that everyone feels included, regardless of their race, gender, abilities, or background. Beyond basic inclusion, we promote inclusion and inclusion, with a goal of making certain everyone has access to the same opportunities. Schools, communities, and corporations are all capable of benefitting from our interactive programs, which touch on a wide array of topics.

Self Acceptance Activities For Families

Inspiring individuals to completely embrace what makes them different through SEL activities for the classroom has been our mission at DHIFI from the start, as we believe that differences shouldn’t be concealed; they should be flaunted. Anti-Bullying Programs Disability Support Initiatives For Universities

Our focus on anti-bullying curriculum for students is core to our mission, as bullying frequently stems from a failure in understanding and acceptance of differences. We strive to tackle bullying’s root causes and ensure students are equipped with strategies to stand up against it when they encounter it daily. This is done via candid discussions and interactive programs. Giving students the skills and knowledge they need to spot bullying behaviors around them and to fight back against them, we strongly emphasize kindness, respect, and empathy. Our programs are focused on more than simply raising awareness. Our goal is for students to become active advocates for real change. Icebreaker Activities For Kids

To build an increased sense of community and belonging, you will discover icebreaker activity ideas kids at Project Flaunt. We encourage individuals to more than just flaunt their differences but to share their stories with others through our unique initiative, Project Flaunt. Individuals express something personal about themselves in icebreakers during these activities. School Programs

This program is designed to help kids and teens build self-confidence, empathy and healthy relationship skills.

Community Programs

We work with community organizations, summer camps, faith-based organizations, and other non-profits.

During our 2019 annual President’s Council of Cornell Women (PCCW) Symposium, Meg gave an impressionable presentation titled “What You Think of Me is None of My Business: Embracing Your Superpower” which embodied our theme of PCCW Celebrates One Cornell: Diversity and Inclusion.” Not only was Meg’s presentation insightful, thoughtful and impactful, but she captivated the audience. Sharing stories about those who go through life with visible and invisible differences made us aware that we all face difficulties and challenges in many ways, but together, through education and awareness, we can be compassionate, loving and caring to everyone, no matter the trials and tribulations ahead.
