We believe that belonging workshop for summer camps is truly capable of making a difference in the world. At the core of our work at DHIFI is Social Emotional Learning. The aim of SEL is to help individuals better understand their emotions, strengthen interpersonal skills, and make informed, thoughtful decisions, with a focus on students. SEL activities are able to enhance awareness of how others experience the world, foster team building and encourage enhanced communication. The social skills needed for self-growth and scholastic success can be laid with these activities as they help build stronger connections. An Inclusion Program For Organizations

We also focus on belonging programs for educators in addition to social emotional learning activities. At DHIFI, we work hard to ensure that everyone feels like they belong, no matter no matter what their race, gender, abilities, or background happen to be. Beyond basic inclusion, we emphasize inclusion and inclusion, with a goal of making certain equal access to the same opportunities. Communities, schools, and corporations can all benefit from our engaging programs, which touch on a broad range of topics.

Key to our mission at DHIFI is our focus on disability support activities for schools. A failure in understanding and acceptance of differences is what often leads to bullying. Through interactive activities and candid discussions, we tackle the root causes of bullying and ensure students are equipped with strategies for standing up against it. Providing students with the skills and knowledge needed to spot bullying behaviors around them and to oppose them, we strongly emphasize kindness, respect, and empathy. These programs do more than just build awareness, they additionally enable students to transform into advocates for change, leading to environments that are safer and more supportive for everyone. Welcome Activities For Kids

Fostering a sense of community and inclusion, Project Flaunt provides acceptance activity ideas elementary school . This program is designed to help kids and teens build self-confidence, empathy and healthy relationship skills.

During our 2019 annual President’s Council of Cornell Women (PCCW) Symposium, Meg gave an impressionable presentation titled “What You Think of Me is None of My Business: Embracing Your Superpower” which embodied our theme of PCCW Celebrates One Cornell: Diversity and Inclusion.” Not only was Meg’s presentation insightful, thoughtful and impactful, but she captivated the audience. Sharing stories about those who go through life with visible and invisible differences made us aware that we all face difficulties and challenges in many ways, but together, through education and awareness, we can be compassionate, loving and caring to everyone, no matter the trials and tribulations ahead.
