A Belonging Curriculum

Social Emotional Learning Programs For Youth Groups

We take a social emotional learning curriculum for high schools very seriously at DHIFI. DHIFI’s inclusion programs are crafted to create inclusive spaces where everybody feels valued and respected. The importance of inclusion is highlighted in the workshops and presentations we deliver, available for community organizations, schools, and businesses. A variety of aspects of inclusion are addressed in our programs. Disability Education Workshop For Universities

At DHIFI, we’re dedicated to advancing our mission with social emotional learning programs for organizations in many ways.

  • School Programs: SEL and inclusion education are integrated into the curriculum through our school programs. Classroom activities, workshops, and assemblies are simply several of the ways students become engaged in substantive discussions surrounding topics including respect and acceptance.

During our 2019 annual President’s Council of Cornell Women (PCCW) Symposium, Meg gave an impressionable presentation titled “What You Think of Me is None of My Business: Embracing Your Superpower” which embodied our theme of PCCW Celebrates One Cornell: Diversity and Inclusion.” Not only was Meg’s presentation insightful, thoughtful and impactful, but she captivated the audience. Sharing stories about those who go through life with visible and invisible differences made us aware that we all face difficulties and challenges in many ways, but together, through education and awareness, we can be compassionate, loving and caring to everyone, no matter the trials and tribulations ahead.
