At Don’t Hide It Flaunt It (DHIFI), we have a strong belief in the power of embracing differences and creating environments where all people can feel seen, valued and heard. Through our wide variety of programs, we work to promote acceptance, empathy, and self-confidence for individuals from all backgrounds.

A SEL Program

We believe that a SEL program for students can truly make a difference in the world. At the core of DHIFI’s work is Social Emotional Learning. SEL equips individuals, particularly students, with the skills to process and manage emotions, build interpersonal relationships, and make informed decisions. SEL activities can enhance awareness of the experiences of others, encourage team building and foster enhanced communication. The social skills necessary for self-growth and scholastic success can be established with these activities as they help build stronger connections. An Inclusion Curriculum For Military Families

In addition to social emotional learning activities, we additionally focus on an inclusion curriculum for educators. Fostering spaces where everyone feels a sense of inclusion, no matter their race, gender, abilities, or background is the goal of our Inclusion programs. We go beyond inclusion by encouraging true inclusion and inclusion – with the goal being ensuring equal opportunities for all. Our programs benefit schools, corporations, and communities with interactive formats that address topics across a wide range.

Anti-Bullying Curriculum Disability Education Workshops For Schools

Bullying is often caused by an absence of understanding and appreciation, which is the reason we are so focused to disability education curriculum for companies. This program is designed to help kids and teens build self-confidence, empathy and healthy relationship skills.

Community Programs

We work with community organizations, summer camps, faith-based organizations, and other non-profits.

During our 2019 annual President’s Council of Cornell Women (PCCW) Symposium, Meg gave an impressionable presentation titled “What You Think of Me is None of My Business: Embracing Your Superpower” which embodied our theme of PCCW Celebrates One Cornell: Diversity and Inclusion.” Not only was Meg’s presentation insightful, thoughtful and impactful, but she captivated the audience. Sharing stories about those who go through life with visible and invisible differences made us aware that we all face difficulties and challenges in many ways, but together, through education and awareness, we can be compassionate, loving and caring to everyone, no matter the trials and tribulations ahead.
