An Inclusion Program Program

We believe that social emotional learning programs for schools is truly capable of making a difference in the world. At the heart of DHIFI’s work is Social Emotional Learning. The aim of SEL is to assist students in better understanding their emotions, strengthening interpersonal skills, and making responsible choices, with a focus on students. SEL activities offer many benefits for both individuals and teams. Some examples include enhanced communication, increased empathy, and stronger team building. These activities assist students connect with themselves and others, building the essential social skills necessary for success, both personally and academically. An Inclusion Curriculum For Universities

We also focus on Inclusion activities for educators in addition to social emotional learning activities. Our Inclusion programs are built to build environments where every individual feels they belong, regardless of their race, gender, background, or abilities. Beyond basic inclusion, we emphasize inclusion and inclusion, with a goal of making certain everyone has access to the same opportunities. Our programming is designed for schools, corporate settings, and community groups, with interactive formats that address a variety of topics.

Promoting welcome activities for middle school at DHIFI involves programming for schools, businesses, and community settings. Confronting assumptions about differences and disabilities through empowering talks is what our Speaking Engagements focus on. Participants experience our interactive programs to be incredibly engaging, encouraging self-expression, introspection, and greater empathy and inclusion. The essential dialogue ignited by our programs for students embraces the things that make us unique and, as time goes on, builds an atmosphere of respect and kindness among peers. Founded on the idea that differences should be flaunted, not concealed, DHIFI’s mission is to encourage individuals to flaunt what makes them unique through acceptance activities for students. Emotional Support Programs Bullying Awareness Training For Students

Bullying is often the result by a lack of understanding and respect, which is why we are so focused to anti-bullying program for universities. Through interactive activities and open discussions, we address the underlying reasons of bullying and ensure students are equipped with tools to stand up against it. Providing students with the skills and knowledge needed to recognize bullying behaviors around them and to fight back against them, we strongly emphasize kindness, empathy, and respect. Project Flaunt provides acceptance activities for the classroom that foster a sense of community and inclusion. We encourage individuals to more than just flaunt their differences but to share their stories with others through our distinct initiative, Project Flaunt. Individuals talk about something unique about themselves in icebreakers during these activities. Through storytelling, students can explore how their viewpoints are shaped by their differences, and individual strengths are often showcased in collaborative work. This program is designed to help kids and teens build self-confidence, empathy and healthy relationship skills.

During our 2019 annual President’s Council of Cornell Women (PCCW) Symposium, Meg gave an impressionable presentation titled “What You Think of Me is None of My Business: Embracing Your Superpower” which embodied our theme of PCCW Celebrates One Cornell: Diversity and Inclusion.” Not only was Meg’s presentation insightful, thoughtful and impactful, but she captivated the audience. Sharing stories about those who go through life with visible and invisible differences made us aware that we all face difficulties and challenges in many ways, but together, through education and awareness, we can be compassionate, loving and caring to everyone, no matter the trials and tribulations ahead.
