At Don’t Hide It Flaunt It (DHIFI), we foster environments where this can happen by embracing differences. Our goal is to promote tolerance, self-confidence and empathy for individuals of diverse backgrounds through a range of programs.

A SEL Program

We believe that inclusion and belonging curriculum for educators is truly capable of making a difference in the world. Social Emotional Learning is a key focus of our work at DHIFI. SEL provides individuals – students in particular – with the resources to understand and control their emotions, build strong social connections, and improve decision-making skills. Increasing awareness of how others experience the world, encouraging the building of strong teams and fostering enhanced communication are simply several benefits of SEL activities. Building connections with themselves and others, these activities help establish the social skills needed for self-growth and scholastic success. Inclusion Programs For Organizations

In addition to social emotional learning activities, we also focus on a inclusion curriculum for schools. Fostering spaces where everyone feels a sense of inclusion, regardless of their race, gender, background, or abilities is the aim of our Inclusion programs. More than just inclusion, we emphasize inclusion and inclusion, with a goal of making sure everyone has access to the same opportunities. SEL Activities

Bullying Awareness Curriculum Disability Acceptance Program For Military Families

We confront the core issues behind bullying and equip students methods to oppose it through interactive activities and candid discussions. The importance of empathy, respect, and kindness can’t be overstated. This is why students learn to identify behaviors of bullying in their communities and stand against them. This program is designed to help kids and teens build self-confidence, empathy and healthy relationship skills.

During our 2019 annual President’s Council of Cornell Women (PCCW) Symposium, Meg gave an impressionable presentation titled “What You Think of Me is None of My Business: Embracing Your Superpower” which embodied our theme of PCCW Celebrates One Cornell: Diversity and Inclusion.” Not only was Meg’s presentation insightful, thoughtful and impactful, but she captivated the audience. Sharing stories about those who go through life with visible and invisible differences made us aware that we all face difficulties and challenges in many ways, but together, through education and awareness, we can be compassionate, loving and caring to everyone, no matter the trials and tribulations ahead.
