Social Emotional Learning Activities For The Workplace

We take a social emotional learning program for students very seriously at DHIFI. Our inclusion programs at DHIFI are crafted to create inclusive spaces where everybody feels valued and respected. We deliver presentations and workshops highlighting the importance of inclusion by working with schools, community organizations, and businesses. Emotional Support Curriculum

We’re committed to providing disability awareness activities for the workplace at DHIFI. A large number of people have unfortunately experienced the prevalence of bullying in educational settings of all kinds. By working to promote empathy and understanding among students with anti-bullying activities, we can make significant progress against this. Our objective is fostering a safer and more supportive environment by supplying strategies and tools to help students not only recognize but address bullying behavior. Students are given the help they need to develop a sense of responsibility towards creating a community that’s free of bullies by emphasizing the importance of respecting differences. Bullying Prevention Workshops For Educators

We advance our mission of a social emotional learning program for educators in many ways at DHIFI.

  • School Programs: Our school programs are designed to integrate inclusion and SEL education into the curriculum. These programs include classroom activities, workshops, and assemblies where students are engaged in meaningful discussions about respect and acceptance.
  • Community Programs: Our reach extends beyond schools by collaborating with community organizations, summer camps, faith-based groups, and other non-profits. The main objective of these programs is building communities where understanding is promoted so that inclusion is capable of being celebrated.
  • Corporate Programs: We provide Inclusion, and Belonging presentations and training sessions that assist companies in creating more inclusive workplaces as part of our goal of expanding our reach to the corporate sector. These programs are tailored to address the specific needs of each organization, promoting a culture of respect and acceptance among employees.

Our goal at DHIFI is to inspire individuals to embrace the things that make them unique and foster a culture of inclusion and empathy. During our 2019 annual President’s Council of Cornell Women (PCCW) Symposium, Meg gave an impressionable presentation titled “What You Think of Me is None of My Business: Embracing Your Superpower” which embodied our theme of PCCW Celebrates One Cornell: Diversity and Inclusion.” Not only was Meg’s presentation insightful, thoughtful and impactful, but she captivated the audience. Sharing stories about those who go through life with visible and invisible differences made us aware that we all face difficulties and challenges in many ways, but together, through education and awareness, we can be compassionate, loving and caring to everyone, no matter the trials and tribulations ahead.
