Find Out About The Power of Inclusion Programs for Organizations

At Don’t Hide It Flaunt It, our aim is using a social emotional learning program for educators to advance mutual respect and tolerance. Don’t Hide It, Flaunt It (DHIFI) believes that embracing and celebrating the differences that make us unique is an act that’s incredibly powerful. Through a broad range of programs and activities, mutual respect and tolerance for both seen and invisible differences are capable of being considerably advanced.

An Inclusion Program Curriculum

Social Emotional Learning (SEL) is at the center of our efforts. Building empathy, self-confidence, and healthy relationship skills for children and teens is what our programs are all about. A range of SEL activities tailored to foster an inclusive environment in communities, and business settings are capable of being found at DHIFI. These activities encourage students to appreciate and understand their own and others’ unique characteristics, promoting a culture of empathy and acceptance. Get in touch with DHIFI today to find out more about SEL activities for students.

Icebreaker Activities For Students

Students are encouraged to connect on a deeper level with the help of our ‘Get to Know You’ activities. Opportunities to open up are created by these activities, giving students the chance to share their own experiences and discover more about the experiences of others. This ensures a classroom that’s more inclusive and supportive. These interactions make stronger personal relationships possible through a better understanding of inclusion. If you’re interested in the potential of SEL activities, why not get started today?

Bullying Awareness Activities

We’re committed to providing disability support activities for educators at DHIFI. Bullying continues to be a major issue in many educational settings. By working to promote empathy and understanding among students with anti-bullying activities, we can make significant progress against this. Bullying behavior isn’t just capable of being recognized but also addressed with the strategies and tools we provide. This helps create an environment that’s built on support and safety. Students are helped to develop a sense of responsibility towards creating a community that’s free of bullies by highlighting the importance of respecting differences. More than just building awareness, these assemblies are designed to spark students to make a difference and shift school culture for the better. Testimonials

During our 2019 annual President’s Council of Cornell Women (PCCW) Symposium, Meg gave an impressionable presentation titled “What You Think of Me is None of My Business: Embracing Your Superpower” which embodied our theme of PCCW Celebrates One Cornell: Diversity and Inclusion.” Not only was Meg’s presentation insightful, thoughtful and impactful, but she captivated the audience. Sharing stories about those who go through life with visible and invisible differences made us aware that we all face difficulties and challenges in many ways, but together, through education and awareness, we can be compassionate, loving and caring to everyone, no matter the trials and tribulations ahead.

When the U.S. Embassy in Israel hosted Meg Zucker as a Distinguished American Speaker in 2015, the audiences she spoke and met with were deeply inspired by her personal story, her effective advocacy, and the early success of Don’t Hide It, Flaunt It.  Her appearance made a huge impact with advocates for inclusion and acceptance which still resonates today with those who met her.

Daniel Shapiro

former U.S. Ambassador to Israel

Meg is an energetic and engaging speaker who inspires all who meet her with her life story of growing up with a blatant physical difference and parenting kids who share her difference.   Her message of “the things that make me different make me, me” is heartfelt and impactful and resonates with audiences of all ages and backgrounds.  Meg’s mission of building acceptance, tolerance, and empathy is more important now than ever before.  Everyone who has the pleasure of hearing Meg’s story and her vision will be better for it.
