Sel Programs For Middle Schools

We take an inclusion program for students very seriously at DHIFI. Everybody deserves to feel valued and respected. Our inclusion programs are crafted to create inclusive spaces to achieve this. We work with community organizations, schools, and corporations to deliver workshops and presentations highlighting the importance of inclusion. From visible differences including physical disabilities to ones you can’t see like learning disabilities and mental health issues, many different aspects of inclusion are addressed in the programs we offer.

Bullying Prevention Training For Military Families

At DHIFI, we advance our mission with inclusion activities for students in a variety of ways.

  • School Programs: Through our programs for schools, inclusion and SEL education are integrated into the curriculum. These programs include classroom activities, workshops, and assemblies where students are engaged in meaningful discussions about acceptance and respect.
  • Community Programs: We aim to extend our reach past the classroom by collaborating with community organizations, summer camps, faith-based groups, and other non-profits. During our 2019 annual President’s Council of Cornell Women (PCCW) Symposium, Meg gave an impressionable presentation titled “What You Think of Me is None of My Business: Embracing Your Superpower” which embodied our theme of PCCW Celebrates One Cornell: Diversity and Inclusion.” Not only was Meg’s presentation insightful, thoughtful and impactful, but she captivated the audience.
