SEL Activities For Universities

We take an inclusion program for universities very seriously at DHIFI. At DHIFI, our belief is that feeling valued and respected is something everyone deserves, which is the reason we aim to create more inclusive spaces through our inclusion programs. Anti-Bullying Training For Schools

We’re dedicated to advancing our mission of disability acceptance activities for organizations in a variety of ways at DHIFI.

  • School Programs: Through our programs for schools, inclusion and SEL education are integrated into the curriculum. These programs include classroom activities, workshops, and assemblies that engage students in substantive discussions about respect and acceptance.
  • Community Programs: In addition to schools, we work with summer camps, community organizations, faith-based groups, and other non-profits. These programs strive to build inclusive communities that promote understanding and celebrate inclusion.
  • Corporate Programs: We offer Inclusion, and Belonging presentations and training sessions that assist companies in creating more inclusive workplaces as part of our goal of expanding our reach to the business sector. Each organization’s needs are taken into consideration with these programs. A culture of respect and acceptance among employees is what these programs promote.

During our 2019 annual President’s Council of Cornell Women (PCCW) Symposium, Meg gave an impressionable presentation titled “What You Think of Me is None of My Business: Embracing Your Superpower” which embodied our theme of PCCW Celebrates One Cornell: Diversity and Inclusion.” Not only was Meg’s presentation insightful, thoughtful and impactful, but she captivated the audience. Sharing stories about those who go through life with visible and invisible differences made us aware that we all face difficulties and challenges in many ways, but together, through education and awareness, we can be compassionate, loving and caring to everyone, no matter the trials and tribulations ahead.
