Find Out More About The Power of An Inclusion Program

Fostering acceptance and tolerance with social emotional learning activities for summer camps is what we’re all about at DHIFI. Here DHIFI, we want to bring about a world where the uniqueness of every child isn’t simply recognized but something that is celebrated actively. Our mission is to give children and adolescents the confidence they need to embrace their individuality and hold their heads high. The work we do helps young people grow into individuals who are confident and compassionate. Our offerings include a inclusion of programs for schools, universities, corporate settings and communities to this end.

Belonging Programs

At the heart of DHIFI is our commitment to inclusion and belonging curriculum for organizations. This includes instructing those who are younger on emotional intelligence, goal-setting, relationship-building, empathy, and wise decision-making. We amplify SEL’s impact at DHIFI by encouraging learners to be proud of their individualism, sustained by offerings for education that concentrate on broadening SEL’s reach, encouraging students to feel pride when it comes to their individuality, supported by endeavors that include:

  • Sharing narratives: Encouraging students to tell their stories strengthens their self-esteem and breaks down the societal constructs that regularly result in bullying.
  • Emphasizing the things that make us unique: We teach that differences are assets to be valued, not deficits.

Championing the acceptance of one’s self and the acceptance of others, promoting regard for diverse backgrounds, and guaranteeing a feeling of belonging for everybody, regardless of their individuality, are key parts of our goal.

Self Acceptance Activities For Kids

To promote get to know you activities for families , Don’t Hide It Flaunt It has additionally created an interactive online platform – Project Flaunt. Project Flaunt aims to empower students through the celebration of differences, promoting self-acceptance, and fostering an inclusive school environment. By encouraging students to flaunt their unique experiences and qualities, the initiative seeks to build empathy and confidence among peers. Emphasizing inclusion and social-emotional learning (SEL), the various resources and activities offered in this curriculum are designed to be integrated into school curricula. For schools looking to ensure each student feels valued and accepted, a understanding and supportive community can be created by implementing these activities. If you are interested in acceptance activities for middle school and want to learn more, visit Project Flaunt.

An Inclusion Program Curriculum For Students

There’s a large number of reasons when it comes to a social emotional learning program for educators, DHIFI stands out. In combination with these efforts, DHIFI is focused on getting rid of bullying, with techniques that include:

  • Encouraging a compassionate culture: When empathy and understanding are nurtured, bullying finds no place.
  • Cultivating empathy: By assisting students in seeing the world through others’ perspectives, we lessen the likelihood of behaviors that are exclusionary.

Anti-Bullying Initiatives

Considering DHIFI for a social emotional learning curriculum for organizations? Our organization, founded by Meg Zucker, was created from a personal journey and is committed to the promotion of acceptance of one’s self. With the individual insight of living with a unique genetic condition affecting her and her husband’s limbs, and with two of their three children that have inherited the condition, Meg has shaped DHIFI into a platform for the celebration of visible differences. DHIFI started as a seed of an idea and has since grown into a vibrant community, where educational institutions and families are given the encouragement they need to celebrate their differences, transforming potential barriers into empowering opportunities. To further our mission, speaking engagements are also given by DHIFI founder Meg Zucker. Discover more by getting in touch with us today.

Inclusivity School Assemblies

At Don’t Hide It, Flaunt It, our SEL programs come to life through impactful school assemblies that ignite understanding, inner awareness, and connection. Regardless of the focus – anti-bullying, disability support, or belonging – our assemblies support students in understanding themselves and their peers with renewed perspective. By blending authentic storytelling, interactive conversation, and thought-provoking activities, we inspire students to recognize their own identities and those around them. Testimonials

During our 2019 annual President’s Council of Cornell Women (PCCW) Symposium, Meg gave an impressionable presentation titled “What You Think of Me is None of My Business: Embracing Your Superpower” which embodied our theme of PCCW Celebrates One Cornell: Diversity and Inclusion.” Not only was Meg’s presentation insightful, thoughtful and impactful, but she captivated the audience. Sharing stories about those who go through life with visible and invisible differences made us aware that we all face difficulties and challenges in many ways, but together, through education and awareness, we can be compassionate, loving and caring to everyone, no matter the trials and tribulations ahead.

When the U.S. Embassy in Israel hosted Meg Zucker as a Distinguished American Speaker in 2015, the audiences she spoke and met with were deeply inspired by her personal story, her effective advocacy, and the early success of Don’t Hide It, Flaunt It.  Her appearance made a huge impact with advocates for inclusion and acceptance which still resonates today with those who met her.

Daniel Shapiro

former U.S. Ambassador to Israel

Meg is an energetic and engaging speaker who inspires all who meet her with her life story of growing up with a blatant physical difference and parenting kids who share her difference.   Her message of “the things that make me different make me, me” is heartfelt and impactful and resonates with audiences of all ages and backgrounds.  Meg’s mission of building acceptance, tolerance, and empathy is more important now than ever before.  Everyone who has the pleasure of hearing Meg’s story and her vision will be better for it.
