Inclusion Activities
Central to the mission at DHIFI is the advancement of inclusivity activities for educators. We focus on enhancing the youth’s abilities for emotional understanding, establishing positive goals, cultivating empathic interactions, strengthening relationships, and making informed choices. At DHIFI, we increase the scope of SEL by motivating students to embrace their distinctive characteristics with programs that highlight individualism.
- Narrative exchange: Students boost their self-confidence and dismantle social boundaries that typically produce bullying, by sharing the stories of their own lives.
- Emphasizing the things that make us unique: We teach that differences are assets to be proud of, not deficits.
Championing self-acceptance and the acceptance of others, encouraging respect for diverse backgrounds, and ensuring a sense of belonging for everybody, no matter their individuality, are integral parts of our goal.
