An Inclusion Curriculum

Disability Acceptance Workshops For Companies

At DHIFI, we’re dedicated to advancing our mission with a social emotional learning program for high schools in a variety of ways.

  • School Programs: Through our programs for schools, inclusion and SEL education are integrated into the curriculum. Students are engaged in substantive discussions about acceptance and respect through these programs, which include classroom activities, workshops, and assemblies.
  • Community Programs: We aim to extend our reach past the classroom by working with community organizations, summer camps, faith-based groups, and other non-profits. Having inclusive communities where diversity is celebrated and understanding promoted is what these programs work towards.
  • Corporate Programs: In the business sector, we offer Inclusion, and Belonging presentations and training sessions that help companies create more inclusive workplaces. During our 2019 annual President’s Council of Cornell Women (PCCW) Symposium, Meg gave an impressionable presentation titled “What You Think of Me is None of My Business: Embracing Your Superpower” which embodied our theme of PCCW Celebrates One Cornell: Diversity and Inclusion.” Not only was Meg’s presentation insightful, thoughtful and impactful, but she captivated the audience.
